The office is open during business hours of 9 to 5pm, weekdays. However, moving day is by appointment and we can accommodate any time as long as it is booked in advance. We have the license to operate and we also have a comprehensive insurance that can cover bodily and physical damages. We have an hourly rate that is dependent on how many staff and crew are needed for an efficient move.
Moving can be a hassle and when you are not adequately prepared, nothing will go as planned. They were on time and moved my fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment within 3 hours! I was impressed because I had ALOT of things. Caesar, Hugo and José were awesome! They reassembled my furniture and left no marks in my new apartment. I would HIGHLY recommend.

My fiancé and I had the best experience with Devon moving company. They were timely, extremely quick and above all some of the nicest men to work with! It was not an easy move at all, we came from a high rise unit in Chicago to a 4th floor walk up also in Chicago. The guys did not stop hauling things up and down for about 2 hours straight. I highly recommend them and if you have a chance to ask for Juan! Nothing but great things to say about our move. Thanks again!!

This is my second or third move with them. They were extremely efficient and professional. I have used several moving companies in Chicago. Devon moving is reasonably priced, straightforward, and have tremendous customer service.
This time around they quoted me 2 guys at $80 per hour with a one time $80 travel fee. 2 hour minimum. I had estimated about 3 hours to move a one bedroom apartment from Wicker Park to Oak Park. They arrived promptly at 9am, loaded the truck up in an hour, and was done unloading everything at final destination by 11.30am. Woooooo!!!!!

Moving from Chicago to Boston was stressful and Devon's helped relieve one of the stressors. On moving day, they did a great job packing everything and were able to complete the move-out within the designated window I had reserved for the elevator. It was great to be able to focus on other stuff while all my possessions were being taken care of. They also were able to dispose of some larger items the I couldn't take with me but also my building wouldn't dispose of for free. I had a few issues with the building I was moving in to, mostly about insurance coverage but Devon's was

My Devon moving team lead by Henry kicked butt yesterday in super cold temperatures. Henry had attention to detail and wrapped almost all my furniture to protect from snow that had fallen the night before. Fast, detailed, kind and most of all made my stressful move painless. Alex was great about communication during planning and confirmation.
I was recommended to Devon from a friend and I would do the same for Yelpers that was a worry free move at a great price point.

Giving these guys 5 stars is not a lie. They're not paying me to write this review. I recently hired them to move my elderly mom’s jam- packed 2-bedroom apartment. They have a few sizes of trucks and offered to come with 3 or 4 guys if you’d like the move to go quickly. Devon Moving was very professional, answering my many questions before the… move, and providing rates of all the potential costs. They showed up promptly, worked very hard and were very courteous, conscientious, and efficient- no dragging their feet to get paid more. On top of that, they provide this great service

I appreciate that he listened to my perspectives, while also sharing the perspectives of his employees.
