With every sale that we take on, we get to serve a family going through a major life transition. Through our work, we make at least one aspect of their transition easier.
Our team handles every aspect of the in-home sale from start to finish. We organize all the contents of the house, price every item, advertise extensively, then host a very well attended estate sale. After the sale you receive a check for the proceeds and a completely cleaned out house.

Brown Button was a lifesaver for us when we decided to move to a senior center. They came in and evaluated our furnishings and art . Since they also have Circle Auctions, an online auction site, they took many of our art pieces for that auction. All of that art sold, most for well more than we paid for them. The actual estate sale went smoothly and we were very pleased with the results. They donated what did not sell and they left the house immaculate. The new owner of the house was very impressed. We highly recommend Brown Button!!

Staff was very professional, detailed, and thorough from start to finish. They made sure I knew what to expect and clearly have a well thought out process for each sale. At the end of my sale the house was emptied, cleaned up, and left exactly as explained. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable and kind. They took great care of and respected my items and property. I would definitely do business with Brown Button again!

This is my third season in the estate sale realm. My observation is Brown Button is grossly overpriced on Day 1. Laughable really. However, people are still buying, so I guess it works. They do always have the high end homes and its evident in their marketing "Million dollar home". However, I tend to go elsewhere on peak days and may go to one of their sales on Day 2-3 if time permits.

BB runs some of the best Estate Sales in Kansas City. You can trust that they are selling clean items that are in good condition. I have been to other company's sales and sometimes was afraid to touch anything. Not here... They are the best in Kansas City, IMHO. I also like their business approach. The discounts can be frustrating because there's not much left by the time they are deeply discounting. So, buyer beware...shop EARLY!

I just bought a great L-shapes sofa through Brown Button Estate sales. I’ve shopped estate sales through other groups. With Brown Button I know the items will be high quality. The furniture sells right away so you have to get to their sales quickly. The people who run the sales are professional and attentive. They helped me load the sofa into my truck. They knew exactly what to do and were ever so friendly as they helped.

Purchased an 18' Championship Shuffleboard table at a Brown Button Estate sale with no idea what I was getting myself into. I really wanted it though. Finally found a piano mover who could get it home but not before the house changed hands. The Brown Button group really came together to get the job done. Highly recommend!!

I just recently discovered Brown Button and have been to 3 sales in the past several weeks. Consistently, everyone is nice, friendly, welcoming, and professional. I appreciate that so much! In my opinion, pricing is fair and I like that they post pics with pricing. They have found a lifelong customer.

This group is top notch. The staff is awesome in creating a clean, well organized sale. (No weird smelling old garage sales here!) I have purchased everything from a Restoration Hardware dinning room table and chairs (for a phenomenal steal of a price) to fun accent pieces. I have even scored some NWT designer clothes for fantastic prices.
The thing that makes them really shine is the service of the staff. They quickly help to load heavy items -a green egg smoker/grill comes to mind. They will even run items to the check out area, so my hands aren't too full. They really make shopping easy

I was very pleased with Brown Button for several reasons. I felt there prices were very fair and competitive. Secondly, there staff actually helped tear down and load all the furniture we purchased. Third, the staff was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. I have been to other Estate sales but I must admit Brown Button exceeded my expectations more than any other one. With all this said I plan on checking there website for future sales. We are very pleased with all the furniture we purchased and looks great in our home! What a joy to find a truly professional, customer-friendly business in ANY category! I love estate sales but especially appreciate them now that we are experiencing the pandemic and I don't want to stop at garage sales. Brown Button runs a safety-conscious operation and has consistently high-quality venues with great prices. I've been to other estate sales where you felt like they were doing you a favor and the staff seemed forever to be cramming pizza while totting up your bill. Brown Button is without a doubt the most professional Estate Sale Company with which I have been involved. They are easy to work with and described everything up front - no last minute surprises. They have a great clientele list that brings in top dollar compared to anywhere I have seen. When they left we closed on the house the very next day and had to do nothing except sign papers. The sales total exceeded our estimate and we were paid timely. While they were not the cheapest I must defer to the old adage: "you get what you pay for". I will no longer look for anyone else for this expert

Brown Button was very good to work with in an especially difficult time. They walked us through the process, letting us know what they would take care of; which was everything! They staged the home well before the sale, advertised as they said they would and cleaned up afterwards so it did not even look like a sale had occurred. They were very respectful of the traffic in the neighborhood. i heard no complaints.
Funds were received on time and EVERY LITTLE thing was handled professionally. I highly recommend Brown Button!

This was an easy request to fill - to review this company.
I loved the people involved. They were upfront and professional about the details. There was not a glitch in the system. I had to be around while they took over my house and frankly, I was sad to see them leave as they finished their particular jobs one by one.
They hire really qualified and professional young people who are industrious and smart.
Selling the contents of one's home is not something anyone looks forward to. But it is handled with the greatest of care and respect.

If you want someone to handle your estate sale and leave you with an empty, clean house, this is the company to hire. They tell you upfront about costs and the process and then you let them take the reigns and get it done. They give you accounting of what was sold or donated and keep you informed long the way. It couldn't have been easier and sometimes you need easy!

Addicted! I found Brown Button by mistake when Jason and I first moved here. I was looking on Craig's List for some items for our new home-I happened across some items for sale at an estate sale. Low and behold it was Brown Buttons.
Ever since...Brown Button has made quite a bit of money off me. I wish Jason and I wouldn't have bought such a big house, it allows me to buy more from BB!
