I literally try something new here every single time, and you can NEVER go WRONG! After the change of management the place has been remodeled to a beautiful interior with PINK walls! Can you believe that, it's the cutest! And beautiful dining room tables! The food has been upgraded to authentic and traditional food and I'm in loooooove!
Not to mention theres always a deal after a $30 purchase and coupons that don't expire! There's even a breakfast and pastries options now for breakfast! The red bean shortcakes, egg tarts, all the buns and sweet soy milk are to dieeeee for. The soups are always boiling hot & now that it's getting cold; my go-to hot & sour soup always keeps me warm.

Thought we'd try this, since it's so convenient, but I wish we hadn't. Ordered moo sho shrimp, which was ok at best. Had this sauce which was different and Just ok. Pancakes were too thin and just fell apart and were hard to eat. Sweet and sour shrimp was super greasy and the sauce was way too sour. Almost tasted like it had gone bad. We threw it away. Also ordered scallion pancake appetizer which was just greasy and gross. Threw that away. Basically threw away half the meal because it was overly greasy, possibly bad or just gross. Worse meal ever. I don't recommend this place

Features primarily spicy foods. Several vegetable entrees. Food is too oily. Unsure, what type of cooking oil, since it appears to be a heavy grade, maybe shortening. Fast friendly service. Accommodating. Reasonably priced. Free parking. Small dining area of four tables. Maximum seating capacity is about twenty.

Well last night was the first time I ordered from China East in a couple of weeks. While placing my order come to find they no longer have egg foo young on the menu. This is when the lady on the phone said they're under new management. How can you have a Chinese restaurant and no egg foo young??
They still had the same delivery person who is always nice and delivered the food hot. Well they changed the crispy noodles you get with the chicken chow mein. The hot and spicy chicken is no longer HOT and SPICY,more like WEAK AND NO SPICY CHICKEN.

New management = change for the worst.
Food under previous owner was always a consistent 3 but new mgt either didn't buy the recipes or just doesn't know how to cook. Current dishes are bland/flavorless, skimpy on the amount of meat/seafood and the help speaks next to no English (which makes placing carryout orders a challenge)
A shame b/c the old China East was a fixture for decades...this new iteration will be out of business within a year.

This was our first time visit here. We had a high hope to this restaurant since it was recommended by my friend. Unfortunately , we were so disappointed!
First, the service is terrible. we asked the girl what are the most popular dishes here. she said,' All!' During entire time, she was unhappy and rude. Even that, I still tipped them.
Second, the food is not as they described and is not authentic at all. Noodles are not handmade; Taiwan style Lu Rou Fan was bitter and salty; Chive box is literally a bun that was squished into flat!
Overall, I don't recommend my friends go

My family and I have been ordering takeout regularly here for years. Today we found out they're under new management, which would later explain how terrible the food has become. Everything is even oilier and has the taste of a mixture of burn from a past dish, cheaper ingredients and an added ingredient (made every dish more red) that isn't working. We ordered Fried Rice, Hunan chicken and Lo Mein, our usuals. Everyone commented that the change in taste was not positive. I also got a small wonton soup that I couldn't finish. Unless they go back to their old recipes I don't think

Used to be my go-to Chinese restaurant. It is now under new ownership and they have employed a new chef. I gave it two tries and both times I have been very disappointed. My latest order was a simple quart of Wonton Soup, it came out black and the wontons were bad. I could only stomach a teaspoon and had to dump it. It was horrible. The menu and hours have changed. Shorter hours and they took away a bunch of the old menu items. Ordered a couple of dishes and found them to be subpar and definitely not what it used to be. I now have to find another Chinese restaurant to frequent.

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant for delivery or carry out. They are now under new management and the quality and menu selections have declined. Ordered chicken noodle soup today, which used to be delicious. It is now made with beef broth from a bouillon cube and tasted terrible. The wonton soup was equally bad. So disappointed!

Even though I live near the restaurant I never ordered anything from it due to its low ratings on yelp. These days they started marketing via WeChat under a new name, and a couple of my friends recommended it to me, so I thought I would give it a try. So I ordered a dao kou shao ji 道口烧鸡 at the restaurant, and I waited a couple of minutes, the owner hastily gave me the carryout order in a plastic bag. After I got home, opened up the bag and found out the chicken is tiny, skinny, dark with lots of feather stubs. See the pictures. I was quite disgusted and had to toss the whole chicken

Chinese take out was meant to be greasy, salty, and absolutely delicious.
Yeah you may feel the need to hit the gym after you eat it, but isn't that the case with chinese take-out wherever you get it?
First off, delivery is quick and they have never messed up our orders.
Secondly, portions are massive and its easy on the pocket.
The crab rangoons are meaty but often times on the soggier side (I'm assuming it lost its crispiness in the ride over from the restaurant to my stomach)
The general tsos chicken was flavorful and juicy. However, you will likely taste that it is high in sodium
