Part of our New Year's break this year was trying to find a place to recycle an old tv -a smart Samsung that stopped getting software updates like 4 years ago. After a small amount of googling I found RecycleForce and now I don't know how I didn't know about them sooner!

They were fast, provided a receipt without even asking, and after looking into their history and the impact they've had as a workplace for ex-offenders I'm proud to have supported them!

There is a small fee for TVs, monitors, and HVAC/refrigerant products. It was $25 to recycle my TV but the price of

It's so awesome that Indy has a place that recycles electronics, full stop. The fact that this also provides jobs for people re-entering the community with dignity- what is better? They used to be in the Circle City Industrial complex, but now they are kinda behind it. Luckily they have signs that can help guide you to the back, where you honk, and some gentlemen will help gather whatever you are donating. All around awesome.

I pulled up to the Recycle Force building and was greeted by three men who were all very polite and answered any questions I had. One of the men then proceeded to help unload my van full of old computer parts. This may be the only time I use them so I wanted to write the review even if so. The older gentleman that helped me was friendly and knowledgeable and I'm happy he was there to help me today. For my entire van full of stuff it ended up being under 60 dollars which I think is pretty affordable. If I ever need recycle services again I would be comfortable saying that I will use them

So glad I found someplace that recycles TV's! Just honk your car horn at entrance on Columbia & Roosevelt. I'm happy to pay the tax-deductible donation of $25 per TV or refrigerator because it's a job-training facility.

Was very happy to find a place to take a 39in Sony TV. Was very nice dealing with the person at the unloading point. Be aware Roosevelt Ave. is chopped up and can be confusing when trying to find the building. Easy way for me was head North on College Ave. to 16th street, turn right past a couple of streets until you come to Lewis follow Lewis South and you will come to your location. Great place.

Quick and easy recycling service. Neat set-up. Mr. Brown was very helpful kind as I dropped off items to be recycled. He's very knowledgeable and I enjoyed our brief conversation. They accept a wide range of recyclable materials with a free drop off. Items like a refrigerator, air conditioner, or tube televisions will incur a cost to drop off.
The revenue generated by its recycling business helps people rebuild their lives by providing employment and other services.

Quick and professional every time I visit. I usually make a drop off every 12-18 months. I love that I am helping the planet, and a non-profit. I have recycled pots and pans, Christmas lights, and electronics. There isn't much that they won't accept. This is a wonderful asset to the city of Indianapolis!

This place is awesome! And so much closer to downtown than it appears on the Yelp map. It's in the Circle City Industrial complex at the northeastern end, just keep driving along Brookside and it will be on your left. You can drive right in and someone will assist you with your items. As this was my first trip, I didn't quite know protocol but they were super helpful and sorted some of them for me. In the future I'll bring everything presorted (plastics, glass, metal). I love that they accept electronics and batteries here- before I was making a separate trip to Best Buy for those

I was pleased to learn about recycle force. My commitment to recycle material and old work products can now expand from just poly plastics and newspapers to a wide array of other materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
Well done recycle force!

Recycling while helping a non profit... double win! this place is amazing. I have been using this organization since before they moved to this building. This new place is great, all the way at the end next to Face Clinic. I always hear "come back now" when I'm done dropping off stuff. They are my weekly recyclers. I would rather drive to them, then pay republic.

We moved to downtown Indianapolis and our first problem was getting rid of all the moving boxes. Recycle centers are far and few between and what few there are a challenge to use because they're almost always full. Then we found Recycle Force. So now months later even though we have every other week recycling service from Republic we still use Recycle Force for the bulky stuff. And they take anything with a cord.

They are a little tricky to find (at the very end of the Brookside CCIC building) but once you do it is easy to spot their garage door and blow the horn. They help unload the vehicle

Recycle Force is a newer (been around two years) recycling center that is reusing the old, old Thomsen plant off of Sherman and 9th as their base for collection. They first made a name for themselves recycling electronics. Everything from TV's and computers, to cell phones, VCR's, hair dryers, power cords, and even copiers and huge electronic equipment. You name it, they can probably recycle it. They also can recycle all household recycling from cardboard, to plastics 1-7, to cans, bottles and even Styrofoam (clean, non-raw-food-ish).

All the great things above stated is not the even
