The idea for Dan's Handyman Services started with a knack for being handy. Dan made a deal with the landlord of his first home, described as a "handyman's special, " to do the work of fixing up the place in exchange for a break on the rent. Word soon spread about the quality of Dan's work. This led to further work throughout the area, including several years spent working as an apartment manager.
It wasn't long before Dan had the idea to apply his skills and experience to launch what would become a successful business in 1983. Born and raised in Utah, Dan has a strong worth ethic based on honest work at a fair price. This approach to doing business is what sets us apart from other contractors.

Dan's Handyman services has been in business for almost 40 years! During this time, Dan has done an incredible amount of work on projects of all sorts and sizes. Below is just a small sampling of deck builds and repairs, door installations, painting jobs, shed repairs/upgrades that we have done in the past.
He comes up with really clever solutions to strange problems. He is extremely good with any type of electrical work. he is extremely reliable and I would recommend him. He will tell you the approximate price ahead of time. He was the only service to return our calls and was prompt in providing an estimate and getting the work done efficiently.

Dan is a hard worker & a knowledgeable professional. I had a dad & a brother who could fix anything, so I have insight into proper methods and attitudes toward work. I have hired Dan a few different times. He recently researched my sink job before he ever arrived, and was prepared to do a job that would last for a long time. He explained to me a couple options and approximately how much it would cost, so that I would be prepared and helped me to understand why he had to do things the way he did. He cleaned his work area, explained the results to me, and explained precautions for the next hours
