Rich's Yamaha

I purchased a 2022 Yamaha ATV from another dealership. It was not working properly when we got it home. The business from which I purchased the ATV was not able to get it working correctly. Rich’s Yamaha did… in less than 5 minutes…. They showed me what was wrong and how it was fixed. We are absolutely delighted. Friendly, expert, conscientious staff. Great people. Highly recommend.

Absolutely one of the best dealership experiences I've had, car or motorcycles. The entire staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with, from sales to service. Helped make sure I got into the right bike for me, and made maintenance visits a breeze.

Honestly loved Misty <3 sold me a new R3 and was super nice. Answered my questions and let me test drive the bike. Am definitely coming back to this dealership despite it being so far from me. The mechanic they had was awesome too and genuinely cared about my well being and safe riding.

Charged me $340+ for just the oil change on my Yamaha r1, and tried to sell me a piece of rubber that goes on the clip of the side panel for another 5 bucks, which I can get for $2. The moment that I said I didn't want it, the lady that tried to sell me that rubber start to talk in deep voice and giving me the expression that I can see that she's mad at me for some reasons. Yep that how this place will treat you, NOT GOING TO BE THERE AGAIN.

I bought a ssr pit bike and because I like to ride it harder of course it’s breaking more and the people at Richs Yamaha are very helpful with getting it back to working everytime I break it. John has been very helpful in helping keep my bike fixed!

Even they are a Yamaha dealership and service they work on Honda bikes as well! They did a great brake and tire replacement job on my Goldwing, can't be more happy here! Also talked to the older technician who worked on my bike and he is very knowledgeable about Honda Goldwing as well. If you are an Goldwing owner then don't hesitate and bring your baby to Rich's Yamaha for service!

Wish the building was bigger and had more selection of bikes! But that’s something minor.
Other than that it’s a great place to buy any bikes from the dirt to the street. Everyone there seems like they appreciate their job and explained everything going by on a day to day basis. Bought a Beneli TNT and put down 100 miles in less than a week. No issues!

Great Great Great customer service!!! Everyone here is so nice and helpful!! Very knowledgable too! I got a great 1st bike and after a week I broke the shift lever and Rich took care of it ASAP and put it on for me!! What a wonderful place and wonderful people!! I HIGHLY recommend buying your next bike, atv, snowmobile, or what ever from Rich’s Yamaha!!

Great people and exceptional service. John and Misty are the best. They made everything smooth and my son is extremely excited about his new Four-wheeler. My daughter is also so excited to finally ride with her brother. Thank you so much for everything.

UPDATE: After speaking with Yamaha customer service at length, they told me Rich's Yamaha had called me to apologize. I have not received any call or voicemail. They also told me this "employee" responded to my accusations by saying "There's two sides to this story." Frankly, there ain't. At all. My friend got aggressive, and rightly so. If you choose to openly offend certain folks don't be surprised when confrontation follows.

Rich's Yamaha is amazing! Misty is so patient and kind and I can't imagine doing business anywhere else in the future. This is truly a family owned business and they take pride in customer service. John walked us through everything once we made our purchase and made sure we left there feeling confident. Thanks Rich for starting such a great business and setting up your staff to be the best!

If you're in the market for a bike, you owe it to yourself to check out Rich's. Most bike shops I've been in treat you like they're doing you a favor by being there. From Mike - the owner - to everyone at Rich's is absolutely great to deal with. They treat you like you'd want to be treated.

Need parts? Misty knows most parts, and part numbers from memory. She'll get you the part you need, and then tell you everything else you need - which will save you a trip back. Need parts for something that's not a Yamaha? They probably have that too, or can get it

Me and my wife went there yesterday and spoke with Misty ( the boss) and she has so much knowledge about the wave runners. We had a plan of not buying but looking. She did an awesome job that my wife looked at me and said " so do you want it". That was not the plan at all but we were sold after less than an hour. I picked it up the next day a Yamaha Vic cruiser. The entire shop is a class act. At this point and time we will continue to shop there and have our wave runner services there. Small family owned motorcycle shop. How small? Try cramming your waterbed into a lunchbox. But don't let the small size fool you. The building may be tiny, this shops moves bikes. How many bikes? At the time of the review they're ranked 31st (Out of 1500) for total Yamaha sales.

Easy to talk to over the phone. Easy to deal with in person. How easy? Easy enough that I'd drive 600 miles to deal with them again.

Others have covered it well, so I won't rehash all of the details. In short I will say that this is the kind of place that I wish all businesses were like. While the space is limited, their inventory is quite expansive and accommodating. While they don't have a large staff, their commitment to service is HUGE. While they are a Yamaha dealer, they really know their stuff, and not just about Yamaha's. (I don't trust many shops with my Goldwing, but Rich and his tech Jack are top notch and have earned my respect.) Misty is simply amazing...the best counter person ever...and much

Short notice on a very busy day yet John took the time to test ride my motorcycle because I thought I heard a noise. No charge and a great smile. Love these folks!! It's no wonder every time I've been there someone is buying a new bike. I will never shop elsewhere and make damn sure my friends go there too. If your trying to decide what you want and where to get it consider the aftercare. That's what counts the most.

Living out in Lockport there are few local places to get parts or service on my bike. Went to Rich's to get some parts for my GSXR1000 and was directed to John in the shop. After a short breakdown of what I needed within a few minutes I was handed the bolts I needed, also coated with locktite (at no charge) and on my way. Great service and knowledge followed by excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

This place is very friendly and well informed professional bunch. I was well taken care of not taken advantage of and got the bike I wanted at a price and loan I could afford with all the toys I needed and wanted. Would buy again in a heartbeat

I've never had a more pleasant and fun experience buying snowmobile gear in my life. Misty was more than helpful picking out the perfect bibs without pressure. She considered my needs more than ringing up the high ticket items she could have. It was an absolute pleasure working them and I'll gladly spend my money there again.

This is a family owned and operated dealership and you pick up on the friendly/professional atmosphere as soon as you begin to work with any of the staff. Just purchased my new Yamaha motorcyle here. I'd have to say this was the most pleasant "dealer" experience I've ever had. Ever.
Before even visiting this dealership, Misty was super friendly and helpful on the phone.Didnt matter how often I called asking questions. Once my bike was in stock, I headed over.
Their sticker price was $800 lower than everyone else in Illinois for the model I wanted. At first I thought there was some kind of typo or catch, but that was the price they advertised and honored.
Mike took care of my paperwork, and this was a completely smooth, no BS

Just bought a new motorcycle from them and it was an awesome experience. Mike was informative and really showed that cared about his customers. I had some special circumstances for getting the bike and he was patient and understanding the whole time and handled my trade-in without issue. I never felt any pressure. When I picked up my new bike, another customer who had bought the same bike was there and he talked to me about the quality of the bike and how great Rich's has been to him. That sort of talk from another customer said a lot to me too.
