We are a small, family owned home business. I am a mobile technician, and travel to your house for DME repairs and scooter rental deliveries. Our priority has always been to help the community go out, have fun and enjoy life. We rent our scooters for a fraction of the cost of amusement parks, county fairs and other companies.
We try to work with everyone, all we ask is that you take care of our scooters, have fun and tell others! We needed a scooter for my grandma immediately because hers broke down. SOCAL SCOOTER GUY was able to deliver a scooter that same day and we were able to take her to Disneyland. My mom recently had surgery and she needed a mobility device to help her get around but we couldn't spend a thousand dollars on a scooter.

My name is Joshua and I am the SoCal Scooter Guy. I started working in a wheelchair shop about 10 years ago selling replacement parts. I started falling in love with the Healthcare Industry and how much of an impact I was making in people's lives. I wanted to do more, so I jumped to the Senior Living side of Healthcare.
1- Reservations: Must be done 24 hours in advance so we can have batteries charged for you. 2- Cancellations: Must be done 48 hours in advance or a 25% fee will be applied to refund. 3- Deliveries: Deliveries only available on 2 day rentals or longer. Local pickups only for 1 day rentals. 4- Returns: Please return scooters in a respectable condition.

I have rented a scooter twice from this company. They are amazing! They have great customer service!
If you are going to Disneyland and are planning on going non-stop from 7:30am to 10pm, I suggest getting a 4 wheel scooter and an extra battery to carry under your legs. The battery life is about 13 hours. We do not stop for a lunch break so recharging is not an option and with an hour charge, you only gain about 2 hours worth of power.
My 4 wheel scooter with the extra battery allowed me to use the scooter non-stop. I switched out the battery around 8:30pm. Super easy to switch!

Josh was amazing and so helpful. Very flexible with times for pick up, super understanding and very professional. I accidentally broke the key in the scooter during one day of our trip and he was able to help out with a replacement by next day. I am so happy I went with Socal Scooter guy for my rental over others that wouldn't even return my phone call to answer simple questions.

We had the best experience using SoCal Scooter Guy! My son has a torn ACL and Meniscus and of course he did it right after I bought Oogie Boogie Bash tickets for Disneyland. SoCal Scooter to the rescue! Super friendly and very accommodating, delivered and pick up from our house. Will for sure use them again!

My family and I were planning a two week vacation across 7 states. My mom's steps are a lot slower and we needed a scooter. I did a scooter search that lead me to Socal Scooter Guy. Everything from booking, delivery to pick up was so easy. The rental price was great!! The scooter was wonderful. My mom did not miss anything. From San Antonio Riverwalk to Bourbon street the scooter handled every where my mom needed to go. If you need a scooter this is the company.

I am so happy I found SoCal Scooter Guy, it was a major blessing. I promise my son I would take him to universal studios however, I was not feeling 100%. I knew I would not be able to walk around the park all day. I reserved 2 scooters last minute, the price was amazing and even tho you are suppose to rent at least 24 hours prior so the scooters will be fully changed, I was still able to get the scooters about 2 hours after I rented it online. The scooters where in a great location in chino and so easy to break them down. I was able to put 2 scooters in my model 3 tesla with 2 adults and 3 kids

Awesome! Best customer service ever! And just when I thought we were out of luck for my husband to go to Knott's.......I found the scooter guy! It was like a blessing ! Easy pick up he had everything already for us to pick up and best of all my husband had an awesome time to be with us as a family. It was a amazing blessed day! Thank you scooter guy. Ok we were going to have to rent a scooter for our vacation last minute but my mother in law came thru and let us use hers,I messaged Socal Scooter Guy and he was willing to deliver last second with no questions asked,that is a sign of a great business owner going above and beyond normal service....being 60 years old now I am sure I will need this company again down the road,so just wanted to say thanks again for being there for us anyways... I wasn't sure what to expect when they said they didn't have a store or showroom. I placed my order online, then I got an email letting me know where to pick up my scooter. It was ready, clean, fully charged for me to pick up at the time I asked for. The scooter was ready for me just to pick up and take away. I loved that! Joshua said we could drop it off at any time on day of return, and we were stuck in traffic but dropped off and we immediately got a thank you text. Definitely recommend them vs the stores that demand you rent scooters for a week. These guys were always nice over the phone and

Thank the lucky stars above we don't have to rent a scooter from the medical supply store anymore. These guys bring the scooter to you! We have rented from them twice now and we appreciate the good quality scooters and their flexibility when my wife was too ill to return it on time. They came and got it from us for no extra charge the next day. Thanks guys we will be calling again soon!

I did have a 5 star review on here until today. I got a text from the guy saying the charger was missing and not with the scooter. The charger WAS with the scooter, he just left it. If he would have even offered to pay for it to be shipped back, my great review would have stayed but he was very rude.

SoCal Scooter Guy saved the day! We rented a scooter from 10/4-10/6/19 and the quality of product and service was impeccable! Joshua delivered early enough to ensure our mom was able to enjoy all the activities planned for her surprise birthday wkend. She called me and said her guardian angel left her a gift for her birthday, and I agree. What SoCal Scooter Guy offers those with limitations is priceless and my family cannot send enough Thanks! SoCal Scooter Guy is awesome! Josh is super helpful. He helped me set up a pickup time in Chino and offered to show my grandparents how to use the scooter at their house. SoCal Scooter Guy also has a great website with videos showing how to break down and set up the scooter and payment was easy. Prices are great too :)

We have been working with Doug for several months. I have been without a chair since September. I had to do all the pushing with the insurance company. I had to call Doug to make sure he sent in what the insurance company needed. I have never worked so hard in my life for a company to take my money.
It's beyond pathetic. We were told our insurance will only pay $1k. That's only true if we don't receive a prior approval (which was processed on 12/05). Then he tells us our company will only pay for a rental. Again NOT TRUE. Our insurance company pays a monthly bill to the DME provide

I didn't know what to expect from them since I had never heard of them, but they were local. I talked to Joshua on the phone and his knowledge on mobility devices made me feel more confident in renting a scooter from them. I went online and reserved a standard scooter. I like that they have videos on the products so you know how to take them apart. I had them deliver it to my house and the tech was very nice and walked us through how to use it, charge it and disassemble. Scooter was in great condition and it even had a phone charger! I was very hesitant about this company I didn't know what to expect I had never heard of them before but after seeing the crazy rental pricing at the fair I knew I needed an alternative solution. I gave them a call and Joshua was very polite, and answered my questions thoroughly. I received a message bright and early notifying me the time my scooter would be ready.
