Michael Kruglet, O.D. completed his undergraduate schooling at the Creighton University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. This place is barely functioning. They’ve got dirty glasses that haven’t been sanitized on the racks for people to try on, random pairs of glasses laying on shelves, can’t get through on the phone lines (watching receptionist sending calls to voicemail) glasses that were “in the back” after 3 weeks are suddenly “backordered”

I've been coming EyeCare Specialties for a long time now, and recently switched over to this location, and Beverly has been the absolute best at her job. She is so helpful, kind, and great at explaining what she's doing as she's doing it. I will definitely be coming to this location for all future eye exams!

I've been a customer here for 6 years and was turned away from my appointment when arriving 8 minutes late after calling and telling them I was in traffic. I have the phone record to prove it was 8 minutes late and not 10 like the kid at desk alerted me it was. If you tell someone they have 10 minutes then still turn them away before that window that's an embarrassing way to conduct business. Won't be going here again.

Everyone in this office was fantastic. I was having difficulty with my eyes, contacts, and glasses. From the minute I walked in, to the second I left, I was very impressed. Reception was very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Kruglet was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to do a scan of my eye, instead of dilation, which was absolutely amazing. I didn't have to drive home with blinding light and spend the rest of the day in the dark. B helped me pick out some new glasses frames. Bryson was very helpful and did an amazing job getting my new progressive lenses to fit my face and worked with

Dr. Lachenman is an exceptional Optometrist. I have a somewhat complicated prescription with prisms, stigmatism, progressive bifocal and her prescriptions are the best I have ever had. The City Park West office is fantastic in an old mansion converted to their clinic and eyeglass shop. They have all the latest technology and do not need to dilate your eyes for a retinal exam. The glasses I had made there are the best I have had from any optical shop and I have been wearing glasses for 55 years now. My absolute highest recommendation!!!

I've been going here for over five years. Love the small, friendly staff and office. Does not have that snotty upscale feel of Europtics but the frame quality is just as excellent with unusual styles you won't see elsewhere. I've had glasses made at other places (like Dr.Spex) that were much less quality in terms of lenses. I wear progressive lenses and was always having to take the glasses off to find the place in the lens I could see properly before I came to "Eyes." I've never had to do that at this shop. Denise and Nicki were amazing. They were very helpful and assistive in picking my glasses as well as being direct and extremely attentive to lenses and the complete process until complete.

I love this place. I have been visiting Eyes of the world for about 4 years now consistently and they have always taken care of me. Most recently, I lost my glasses, so Aubrey helped me pick a pair of frames. I really appreciate the guidance and detail they put into their frame selection and lenses. My prescription is horrible so they make sure to help me choose the best frames so that my lenses are as thin and light as possible. The quality has always been outstanding. I just want to thank Aubrey for being so patient and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this optometrist if you are looking

So I broke my glasses (and my face) one evening - the folks here were kind enough to fix my glasses and were able to do so in less than five minutes! Not only that, they were exceptionally kind and empathetic regarding my circumstances. Thank you!! I will definitely be coming back here to get my next pair of (unscathed) frames :)

I've been coming here for a few years and it's really changed my attitude about going to the eye doc and picking out new frames. Even though I'm only here once a year, folks remember me, welcome me warmly, and explain everything in a way that's easy to understand and isn't condescending. I actually understand what is happening with my eyesight!
And the staff is awesome at figuring out insurance and at helping you find frames that look great on you. I've never had buyers remorse.
It's not as cheap at LensCrafters, but then do you really want discount eye care

After following up with a pediatric ophthalmologist for years, we decided our kids were old enough and ready to see a local optometrist for their eyeglass and contacts exams. We had purchased glasses at the Eyes of the World optical before, and now we are so glad we went to see the doctors there.
You can make an appt online or call, and we were able to get in very quickly.
On the day of the appointment, the check-in is so friendly and smooth. The screening with the assistants was excellent and patient, as the kids adjusted to the new screening machines. I can't praise Dr. Laurie enough

Let me just say that my first experience at this office has made me a patient for life. The office is stunning and each person who works here is helpful and so incredibly nice. (Not once was I guilted for not having an eye exam in the last 5 years!)

I spent three hours at a big box store and left empty handed. Found this place on yelp and walked in feeling defeated. Frank immediately explained what kind of frames would fit the shape and size of my face, asked about my sense of style and got to work finding me some sweet glasses. He'd bring me two frames at a time, and we agreed on every either/or. Yes, the frames are more expensive than your generic chain, but I am so glad I made the investment in my eyes with some cool, neighborhood people. Oh! Having had lasik nearly 20 years ago, it was time for these old eyes to get me glasses. I just moved to The area and had gone to your "big chain" places and just felt staffs were robots. But then found this place and it's small staff was very welcoming and most helpful in fitting me with both contacts and glasses. Most definitely be back!

Opting out of all the $40 extra charges in which they proceeded to not ask about and charge me
For (Salina). Then once I was done with the exam a very nice lady was helping me until Kristine stepped in and was RUDER than anyone I have ever come in contact with. She literally put me down to make me feel like I don't have money, while I was about to check out with $500 frames and then she opened her mouth and belittled not only myself but every other person with the insurance I have. they gave me about $200 discount on new ones.
Their eye exam equipment is bleeding edge, no more eye dilation and you get to keep a high resolution imaging record of your eyes.
Super smart and friendly staff from the moment you walk in, I highly recommend it, and the place itself has a nice atmosphere to it, best eye exam I've had. They truly have it together there, kudos.

I was in an odd predicament when my glasses broke and then I found my prescription was greater than one year old so I couldn't get replacement glasses quickly and I did not have any backups. Eyes of the World was the only place I could get an appointment the same day. Even though they are far away from me, I went with them because they could see me same day.
I saw Dr. Laurie and I couldn't be happier with my experience. He really explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He walked me through the changes

So to start, you should understand that I am one of those guys that is hopeless when it comes to shopping for clothes, glasses, anything. I came in when my girlfriend recommended I check it out, because she said that when she worked with Jonathan, he was super helpful.
I met Frank Leslie and was blown away by how professional and helpful he was. He took me through a process that helped me find a pair of glasses that fit my style, career, and personality. I loved the experience so much that I bought TWO pairs, which I thought would have been impossible.

This is THE BEST service I've ever received. After my regular eye doctor was impossible to schedule an appt with.. I approached eyes of the world for help. Both my husband and I were scheduled within 2 days and were extremely satisfied.
The optometrist was professional, on time and the staff... Well, it just doesn't get any better.
I picked a new pair of glasses and received contacts all within record time. While my contacts were on order and I was wearing trial lenses they were even able to acoomodate my need for a new lens (prior to a trip).
