We operated out of an office in the Telco FCU building until 1971 at which time the first paid employee, Gary Bramlette, was hired and our first West Florida Central Credit Union office was established. In 1969 the State of Florida approved the addition of other liquidating credit unions and SEGS (Small Employee Groups) that were unable to support themselves or develop their own credit union.
We were able to merge credit unions such as: Sacred Heart Employees Credit Union, Enlisted Men's Credit Union, Borden's Dairy Credit Union, Automobile Dealers Credit Union, Southern Prestressed Concrete (SPC) Credit Union, Westinghouse, Community Mental Health (Lakeview) and Armstrong World Industries.

I would like to thank the entire team at the Pensacola Central Credit Union of Florida for a great experience. Barbara MacNeil helped me first in promoting their services and special promotions and encouraged me to apply. She emailed me an application and upon completion referred me to Regina Mosley at the call center. I had several contacts with Regina which was very warm, helpful and in the end bore fruit. I'm a new member at Central. I came in for an auto loan and my experience was amazing the process was quick and easy. With the exception of filling out the initial application and finishing paperwork everything was done remotely. Dakota Watkins was a wealth of knowledge and help and really makes sure you get a loan that will work for you and be happy with your financing. 20/10 would recommend them.

I have been doing my banking with them for a good while now. At all the locations, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It gives you that “Cheers” feel to it. Highly recommend. Plus the customer service is superb, knowledgeable, and will help you out anytime. I’m extremely big on customer service. If you have terrible customer service then that establishment will not last long. CCUF y’all are great! And another satisfied customer here.

If this review stops one person from going here than taking the time to write this will be worth while. I’ve deterred several newcomers to the area from making the grave mistake of coming here and I do hope everyone who reads these reviews can take the few minutes it may take to read mine.

Been trying to pay this loan off for an hour and a half. Called first and they said they can’t take payment over the phone so I had to go to the drive through and they said my card declined. They made me go out of the drive through that I waited 20 min in and I called my other bank and they said there wasn’t even a charge. So I got back in the long drive through and the lady said they’ve closed there payment processor or something and can’t take the payment. They didn’t close for another 2 HOURS! Guess they don’t want my money! Very disappointed with this location! Like I’m so frustrated

Recently refinanced with Jen Alvarez and saved a fortune. She was able to lower my payment by 100s. After paying a high interest rate to buy my new 2018 Rav4 in December, I refinanced 4 months later.
