I stumbled upon Smile Spinners the other day with my girlfriend while going for a drive. We caught sight of the brightly colored building and had to stop by! And I must say, everything about the place was charming! Jessica Bacon greeted us and toured us around the showroom and gave us the history of the family business. We left feeling so inspired and with smiles on our faces.

I highly recommend Smile Spinners for all of your sewing projects, the inventory is extensive, and the design assistance is first rate (and from the garment houses in NYC)! Jessica curated the fabrics for this log cabin quilt. I sat in a chair and gave "forest green" as the direction. I love the outcome. Thank you Jessica, Cathy and Caleb. I am a quilter through the patient tutoring and encouragement of this team. Stop in and you will be pleasantly surprised. You will enter as a shopper and leave with new friends.

Very bad customer service. After taking machine for repair of outside case and cleaning, they offered to trade me up on a use machine plus $800. Needless to say I was shocked. Their mechanic was told to call me with quote. Apparently, he makes $100 an hour. I left my old machine there and will never return. They are also very rude! Highly recommend Discount Sew and Vac on Trindle Rd.,Mechanicsburg.

I didn't know anything about sewing and was calling around different craft stores… they were so helpful on the phone that I went in the same day and left with an unbelievable amount of knowledge of how to move forward with my idea/project. Even taking a class next week!

These people are beyond helpful. I swore I would never buy an electronic machine, but here I am because I can possibly do all the things I want to. So glad they have classes, so I can use my machine to it's potential. They tried to help me with my old machine and were so much more dedicated to their craft than other places I had tried to get help from.

While in the area for the PA Farm Show, I googled and Yelped "quilt shops." Smile Spinners was at the top of the list and deservedly so. It was a short 15 minutes away from our hotel and with the help of Garmin, my husband found our way there.

I am new to quilting and I had the opportunity to meet the owner and a friendly, knowledgeable salesperson. The owner especially was extremely helpful and gave me several helpful suggestions and advice. She took time to show me the classroom even though she was preparing to teach class later that morning. I was taken back how she voluntarily

I was searching for a gift for a coworker, and wanted to shop somewhere that was not a chain. I did a quick search of google & it came up. Kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but with a beautiful website and a super friendly telephone receptionist. I called and inquired about buying a gift card. I placed one on order over the telephone and the lady had it in the mail the same day.

I had the opportunity to visit about a year later. It is a really cool shop, what was surprisingly busy. They do classes and have lots of supplies for the sewer, quilter or crocheter in every color, shape &
