This is what we are passionate about creating for you. Portraits and moments you can treasure and hold close to your heart for the rest of your life. My mother always encouraged me to have a career of my dreams and I feel certain I am doing just that. I attended Western Kentucky for Photojournalism, worked at the Times-Picayune in New Orleans and then went on to be Staff Photographer at the Courier-Journal in Louisville Kentucky for eight years.
We love the opportunity to do engagement sessions so we can have time to really get to know the couple, see you interact and warm up on some fun poses and getting in front of the camera before the wedding day. They are relaxing and fun! Engagement photography sessions are a time for the couple to get creative and show off their personality.
We strive to photograph the magic of a moment, allowing you to continue to experience your cherished memories. A wedding should never feel like a business transaction. For a lot of people, including myself, getting your picture taken can be vulnerable and stressful. Cameras have this incredible ability to bring out our harshest self-critics. You'd be shocked by the frequency with which I hear, "I am the least photogenic person ever." And still, after 20 years of experience, I have yet to meet an unphotogenic person.
Kylene's Photography has a decade of experience working at major metropolitan newspapers. Our professionalism and experience go beyond your average commercial photographer. We work directly with top advertising agencies and corporations covering your major media conference, products, and food photography.

I am so happy that I booked with Kylene's Photography for my wedding day. Kylene is a wonderful photographer with years of experience. This experience is obvious when you see her professionalism and vision when shes taking photos. When we got out wedding album back I was so happy to see how the pictures turned out. Not only is she truly talented, she was also extremely attentive and helpful leading up to the big day. I can't imagine any other photographer having as good of customer service. You can really tell that she cares about you and making your big day perfect.

Kylene is an amazing photographer and storyteller. As a photojournalist she had the task of covering international events such as the earthquake in Haiti or the 2014 Philippine Tsunami. In addition to international work she worked at the Courier Journal for 5 years and has used those experiences and talents to create Kylene's Photography.
