One of Washington's most distinctive addresses is more than a building; it's a neighborhood in itself. Located on 12 acres, The Towers was one of Washington's most fashionable apartment houses when completed in 1960. The 620 apartments are contained in two identical thirteen-story buildings known as Towers East and Towers West, and are connected by a lobby and glass enclosed corridors.

The Towers offers a community's worth of beauty and amenities within its grounds. From the front desk with controlled entry, to the valets and shops, security and convenience go hand in hand. Package delivery and dry cleaning pick-up are available in each building. A grocery store and hairdresser are within an elevator ride.

The staff doesn't understand customer service. If you won't help, get out of the way. Nice location.

This is a wonderful, classic and regal property! It is a large complex in one of the most desirable and sought after neighborhoods! It has all the amnities you expect from a luxury building, conceirge, doormen, valet, pool, tennis courts, garage, outside parking, library, community room, and Gym. I looked for nearly a year before i bought a place at the Towers, and i will tell you the apartments are the largest you will find anywhere in DC. Yes, HOA's are a bit high, but you are getting a lot of services, and more space. Other places I viewed were at least 200 square feet smaller. The

This is a terrible place to live. I owned for 4 years in this building and the out of control fees and constant nickel and diming combined with the life dominating rules make it not worth it for a mid-30s professional.
There really aren't many positives beyond the average living notes but there are plenty of specific negatives, I'll highlight some of the big ones:
1. HOA fee (roughly a $1/sq ft per month). Mine was $977 a month.
2. Laundry facilities are dated, in poor condition, and you have to pay to use them (despite your insanely high HOA). They are also locked from 10pm-7am nightly and

Went to a dinner party here. Beautiful building. Not sure what size all apartments are, but the one I was in was modest yet still nice and large, I thought. also, these are owned condos, so if you get the chance to rent one, do it!

I've been visiting a client at Tower Condominiums while working on a project. The building and landscape are very beautiful. The doormen are always very, very friendly. The concierges? Some are friendly and others are extremely rude.
There is a nice lobby area for guests to wait for residents and valet parking is available for guests upon request by the resident.

Pros - I bought a condo back in 2012, and I don't regret it one bit. This place has more things to offer than any other fancy new construction downtown. Plenty of space and amenities including, pool, tennis court, library, 24 hours maintenance & security, gym, convenience store on site, concierge, etc.
The staff is really amazing, always friendly and helpful. The location is great, nice and quiet area of NW that is accessible to VA or MD in just minutes. There is a bus stopright outside of the building and the metro station is 1.5 miles away.

Cons - While I love the size of my condo,

I bought an apartment here in 2012. I absolutely love the airiness and light that comes in. It is quiet yet conveniently located. You can be in DC, MD, or VA in under 15 minutes. Bus lines are right near the front door.

All staff is superb and very friendly. The building is run like a super tight ship.
I love having little market and dry cleaners downstairs. Tennis , pool, fitness room, quiet library with wifi, occasional social activities make this a stellar place to live.

There is a broad age range, which I love. The older people enjoy the little kids, and it makes for a great communal

I bought a condo here in 2010 and have loved every minute of living here. Its quiet yet close to anything you could want from a city. Lots of greenery, well manicured gardens, a pool, its own store, hair salon, etc. Fantastic in the winter as you don't have to step outside the door if you don't want to and well air conditioned in summer. The front house staff, security, cleaning and housekeeping and maintenance staff are fabulous. Love the ladies on the West Valet and front concierge are wonderful. We have a good Board who manage to keep most things in place despite dealing with

I love living here. I have a huge, gorgeous apartment in a safe neighborhood in a building with a parking garage and 24-hour security. It's as good as it gets!

The building is well-maintained, and the custodial staff is absolutely top-notch--the place is always spotless. They even vacuum all hallways every single day! The trash rooms, too, (located on each floor and complete with recycling centers) are spotless and bug and smell free. There are laundry rooms located on every floor, making laundry a breeze. They have all high-efficiency commercial Maytag machines--so far, so good--they all

I love it.

The peace and quiet of DC but only a ten minute bus ride from Dupont Circle. Air conditioning works well and you hardly hear your neighbors. The pool is nice and the foliage around it gives a nice feeling of privacy. The furniture in the lobby is a bit Long Island gaudy but I don't mind too much. There's also a nice convenience store in the basement with reasonable prices.

Only bad thing is that there is a good number of elderly people here. I don't mind since they all are friendly and keep it quiet and have some good stories to tell, but I can see how it may
