I am a fully licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan, with an office in downtown Ann Arbor. I provide individual therapy for those college-aged or older. Whether you're seeking support in dealing with a crisis or just feeling stuck in some aspect of your life, I look forward to working with you.

My approach is very active, practical, and individually tailored. I will work with you in developing a deeper understanding of your issues, clear goals, and a step-by-step plan for reaching those goals. I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) framework. My specialties are Asperger's and related autism spectrum conditions, as well as social anxiety, and adult ADHD.
Services
Asperger's
Report
Asperger's is part of the autism spectrum and associated with particular ways of processing information and communicating. Although there is considerable variation among individuals with Asperger's, the following strengths are common: above-average intelligence, good attention to detail, strong sense of social justice, good pattern recognition skills, logic, and expertise in areas of interest.
Social anxiety
Report
Social anxiety is the extreme stress or discomfort that occurs in particular social or performance settings, such as talking to colleagues, public speaking, attending parties, and participating in meetings or class discussions. People with social anxiety tend to be preoccupied with how they come across to others, and expect to be judged negatively.
Adult ADHD
Report
Almost two-thirds of those who experience ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) in childhood continue to experience similar issues in adulthood. Some common challenges for adults with ADHD include: forgetfulness, procrastination, poor concentration, poor organization and time management skills, and low frustration tolerance.
Toolkit
Report
Most students have problems with procrastination from time to time. This is understandable; academic work can be boring or we may feel overwhelmed by the sheer unrelenting volume of work. The negative feelings (such as boredom, anxiety, or self-doubt) we experience when we sit down to do our work - or even think about doing our work - can lead to a cycle of avoidance and procrastination.
