The cake cutting ceremony can be a bit intimidating for the couples. Don't panic, just relax. There is usually someone there to guide you right through it. Typically, the bride picks up the knife with the groom's hand over hers to guide through the cake. With some wedding, this step is totally opposite.
Specialty flavors requested for a tasting, will be a complete purchase of a 6 (2) layered cake at $25.00. Please make certain an advance notice is given in order for us to properly prepare. Such request are made to order. Custom cakes requires a deposit of half the total cost of the order, at the time of booking.

My Husband and I worked with Diane for our Wedding, that took place in the fall of 2019. It was a different time, pre pandemic. She welcomed us to come in for a tasting on a Sunday afternoon in April (book ahead y'all). She had baked cupcake versions of all sorts of flavors and had fillings and frostings galore to pair with them. We pretty much decided in the car on the way home that we had found perfection. She created beautiful cakes for our day, meeting and then exceeding all expectations. She took inspiration photos from me and kept in close touch to make sure I was completely happy with

Diane is hands down the best person to work with AND her cakes are beautiful and tasty. The customer service is phenomenal from the first phone call to the delivery of the cake! She makes sure to note every detail you desire for your cake. Then she makes your cake dreams come true! The cake was perfect for my sister’s wedding and there were only crumbs left over as it was soooo good!! I will use D&D Cake Designs again and again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I live in the Washington, DC area and needed a bakery in Jacksonville, Fl. I came across D&D Cake Designs and they are far the best. I needed a cake for my sister's surprise 65th birthday that I was planning from another state. I reached out to Diane and she promptly responded and was awesome to work with.

When seeking a bakery for my 60th Birthday Party, I had specific criteria; professionalism, great taste, and precision as to what I desired for my cake; D & D Cake Design (Ms. Diane) was all of my criteria and more! Her professionalism is impeccable; she returned all telephone calls promptly; she kept all appointments and every promise made to me. She was very accommodating! At my appointment for cake tasting, she had several cakes for me to taste; it was a wonderful experience! I wanted a specific taste and design for my cake; D & D Cake Designs nailed it!!! Mrs. Diane is such a beautiful woman on the inside and out! I went to her overwhelmed and with very little details. She was so patient and kind to me. She asked several questions and gave suggestions when I asked for them. We worked together for several weeks before I finalized my order.

Diane made a wonderful cake for my wedding!!! I showed her a design and she tailored it to my colors and gave it a unique look. Not to mention the flavors were fantastic😁 There was nothing left! Lol. Diane of D & D Cake Designs created a beautifully decorated vanilla sheet cake with butter cream frosting with an almond flavored filling for the bridal shower for my daughter last weekend. The cake was tastefully decorated with light pink and white flowers and was delicious. All my guests raved about the cake. Also, it was so easy to do business with Diane by phone and email, and the cake was very reasonably priced and top quality. Thank you Diane!

My Husband and I was blown away with her beautiful personality, and godly sprit, and warm welcome. she doesn't compromise until the Customer is fully satisfied with the design, and ingredients. She will explain everything down to a needle point about her unique designs of her speciality, and exotic Cakes. Her prices is well deserve and fair price for today's market, very reasonable for what a customer is asking for, and that should not be negotiated. D&D Cakes are Home made not store brought

I live in CA and ran across D&D through a web search for Jacksonville bakeries as I was helping plan my grandson's first birthday party. I called and left a message. My call was returned promptly a Diane. I described what I was envisioning and she also recommended options. I text pictures of the LEGO block smash cake I had in mind along with an order of a dozen red velvet cupcakes for delivery. She confirmed my order via email and I was able to pay via e-check since I was still in CA.
