NewStudio Architecture was founded on the idea that we can provide exceptional architectural design and customer service experiences. Established in 2011, we are an award-winning architecture, interior design, and sustainable design firm focused on creating innovative, timeless, and beautiful design solutions.
Every project tells a story. And each NewStudio project tells a unique story of our clients, their home, and their lives. The NewStudio team truly enjoys the initial process of sitting down with a cup of coffee (or any other beverage) and meeting with our clients to just talk about the project. We ask a lot of questions and encourage an open dialog about daily life, wants and wishes, and whatever else might come about.
When it comes to retail and restaurant design, we know the ropes. We've worked on more than 100 stores in over 42 states, as well as the District of Columbia, and two Canadian provinces. We decided to use NewStudio for the design of our new offices after being impressed with the vision and creativity they displayed in designing their own space. They were able to take our feedback and come up with a very attractive and efficient plan for our space that satisfied the several stakeholders in our company, which is no mean feat! It was also helpful to be able to lean on their interior design expertise when it came time to selecting and sourcing finishes. Their ability to identify and present various options really distinguished them from other architectural firms we've used in the past

Hallberg Engineering, in White Bear Lake, MN has worked with NewStudio Architecture on many retail/hospitality projects since 2012. The staff at NewStudio is great at what they do! They have a creative team with great leadership (Sean Wagner and Melissa Martyr). NewStudio has a passion for historical buildings and have transformed many buildings into stunning new spaces for retail and restaurant use.

I called NewStudio seeking a referral for a contractor because I didn't think my project was "architect-worthy". However, after talking to Melissa Martyr, the operations manager, I hired the team for a kitchen remodel. The architects and interior designers at NewStudio are creative problem solvers with the expertise to work around the quirks of a 1930s home. I was able to provide input when and where I wanted so the process ended up very collaborative. I also appreciate how NewStudio worked within my budget. I look forward to working with them again!

NewStudio did a tremendous job with the structural stabilization project on the National Register listed Charles P. Noyes Cottage (aka the Fillebrown House) owned and operated by the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society. They made a fairly stressful project much easier with their experience, knowledge and creative approach. It was a pleasure to work with the NewStudio team from beginning to end!
