We provide rented mailboxes so we accept packages from any carrier so they don't get lost or stolen from your doorstep.

We LOVE what we do here at The MailRoom! We help people get their special items from here to the destination by sending packages across the street, across the country and all around the world We ship care packages to soldiers, papier mache sculptures, framed original oil paintings, household goods, antique china sets and antique clocks of all sizes.just to name a few.
An area in which we have expertise, is packing delicate items like antiques, artwork and electronics. We will help you determine which shipping carrier meets your needs best by checking UPS, FedEx, and the Postal Service. DHL is also an option for international shipments. We pack according to the carriers' standards to ensure that everything will arrive safely.
Need a document notarized? We have two notaries on staff. You can call ahead and make an appointment but walk-ins are welcome. Bring in a valid photo ID, such as a driver's license, for each party getting a signature notarized. Our Notary Service starts at $10. If you or someone you are helping cannot travel, we can come to you for a travel fee.
Along with your postal mail you can receive UPS, FedEx and other packages. Your address is our street address NOT a PO box. It's perfect if you're starting a new business, updating a current business or just don't want packages sitting outside your front door. If you travel often, you might consider our mail forwarding service.
Since 1985, we have been packing and shipping antiques all across the world. We are now the preferred shipper for most of the auction houses in Central Kentucky. Your items are handled like they are our own, with special care to ensure that they arrive safely. Whether you have porcelain, glass, or any other fragile item, we will pack it according to the carrier standards with a little extra padding to make it safer.

I love the speed of service at The MailRoom! The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help with shipping anything. My time is valuable, so instead of waiting in line at the U.S.P.S. for postage, especially at tax time, I drop off letters and packages at The MailRoom without waiting. I highly recommend them!

I ordered an item online from a nearby auction house, and after working with the auction house and The MailRoom they were able to obtain and ship the item to me a few states away. The item was packaged superbly and arrived in good condition, and the customer service and level of communication was incredible throughout via both email and phone. Lenora was so very helpful to me today and went above and beyond what any store owner would normally do. I came In her store with loads of questions that she happily answered and explained to me exactly what I needed to get. On top of that, I did not have cash on me and instead of charging my debit card the $3, she gave me the small box on the house! You can tell she knows what she’s doing and likes doing it every day. She cares about customers and for that I’ll be back for her notary and mailing services!

Lynn and Chad (I think was his name) were amazing! Lynn was so patient with me and helped me thoroughly while obtaining my passport for a trip. I had to have it in a hurry and they were SO helpful! I had a large portrait that needed to be carefully packed and shipped. I went into store to inquire. Chad told me to just pull up to curb and he would get it out and package it and would call when it was finished. I went back the next day and paid. It was so easy and friendly. Very best service and they ship by all carriers.

Lenora at the Mailroom was fantastic and professional. Her packing was meticulous. Everything came through perfectly--furniture, heirloom dishes, valuable artifacts. When you inherit things, they aren't just "things." They're memories and treasures. Lenora treated them as such. She was very quick to track down a package that hadn't arrived and get them to deliver that day. I'll trust her again when I need to ship more items from her area.
