Janis first photographed our family after my youngest was just born, and although we remember that time as chaotic, overwhelming, and generally pretty messy, the images she captured were just magic. Since then we've had two more sessions with Janis, and each time she somehow manages to show our family exactly how we are in real life, but in our very best light. The photos we have from all 3 sessions are some of our most cherished possessions.

We have been using Janis for our annual family photo shoot for three years (and going!). We're a family of four with 2 young kids ... and do the shoot at our house. She has the magic touch where she gets everyone comfortable and relaxed ... and then, there's her magical ability to capture beautiful candid moments. We love her work which makes grandparents very happy :) Look forward to many more years of annual photo shoots with Janis. Highly recommend!

I was looking for someone to take family photographs and Janis came recommended by several people who had used her before and when I looked her up I easily saw why! Her photography style is so natural and beautiful that I knew I wanted to work with her. I got in touch and she responded so quickly and efficiently that we had a date picked and the details hammered out in no time. The day of the shoot went so incredibly well, not only because she is an amazing photographer but also in large part that she herself is so nice and friendly that my husband, daughter and I felt immediately comfortable with

Janis recently did a photo shoot for my very large extended family and she did an absolutely amazing job!! The shoot included 9 adults and 10 kids under the age of 9 and she managed to capture the most beautiful photos despite a lot of chaos, screaming and crying children!! I was so impressed with Janet's calmness, energy and enthusiasm. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to do a photo shoot!
