As the founders of Pearl HomeCare, we (Coleen and Steve Thornton), can relate to your home care needs in a very personal way. Caring for our own parents inspired us to do all we can to help those seeking care for their loved ones. Pearl Home Care, named for Steve's mother Pearl, was founded on the value of preserving the intangible sparkle of life in those we love.
More than 7.6 million Americans receive home care, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The number is much greater when you consider that it does not include informal care which is care given by a friend or family member. Home care is generally defined as non-medical support services delivered at the home of the senior.
Assisted living communities or assisted living facilities (ALFs) help promote health, safety and well-being among the senior residents that live there. Among assisted living communities there is a wide variation in the level of care that may be provided.

Some assisted living communities specialize in providing a supportive and safe environment for seniors who are largely independent but need some minor periodic assistance with activities of daily living or medication management.Other assisted living providers have designed their services specifically for the very frail elderly who need a very high level of assistance on a daily basis.
Over 4.5 million people in the United States and 26 million worldwide suffer from Alzheimer's disease, Alzheimer's Care Irvine California is no different. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia. The disease destroys brain cells and symptoms can include confusion, anger, mood swings, language breakdown and long-term memory loss.
Today in the United States there are over 16,000 nursing homes. My family had the best experience with Pearl Homecare while dealing with one of our most difficult times of our lives. Steve and Amy were very understanding of my needs to care for my elderly parent, and they responded with quick and appropriate actions to handle the challenges. All of the caregivers were professional with lots of experience. When I needed to make changes due to my work schedule, Pearl Homecare Solutions was very flexible and accommodating.
Thank you Steve and Amy for your service! We could not done it without your help. Kim and Dar.

Pearl Home Care has been amazing for our family. My mom has Parkinson's and Amy and Steve have been so sensitive to help us find the right person for our mom. The three or four staff that helped my mom regularly were a gift. They were sensitive and kind and my mom felt cared for. The support was for my dad as well and they continued to offer respect, kindness, and walked us through very trying moments. If a caregiver did not fit her personality or did not work out they tried another until my mom felt it was right. I highly recommend Pearl.
