The Kingston Group is a residential construction and remodeling firm based in Nashville. We provide custom building, remodeling, maintenance and community restorations for Homeowners, Realtors and Property Managers throughout Middle Tennessee. Childhood friends Ricky Scott and Robbie Edwards started The Kingston Group, in 2007, the year the Nashville real estate market collapsed.
Despite the bad timing, The Kingston Group held strong with a grounded and risk-averse approach to business growth. Even though the industry was suffering, The Kingston Group added customers and revenue. From the beginning, the business focus has been on building a strong team and its core competencies - remodeling, additions, and custom building.

Services
The Kingston Group, a Nashville-based construction and remodeling firm, offers an eight-step process that gives us the opportunity to find out your needs and goals, develop a fixed budget, and determine a schedule for your project. Our eight-step process will guide your construction project and will allow us to discover the full scope and potential obstacles early.
We do give free estimates, but on large projects estimates are just that - estimates. If our estimate is in line with your budget and you like our construction process we take a security deposit and begin developing the scope of work and final fixed pricing. During this due diligence period we often put upwards of 30 man hours into your job.
If we are a good fit, enter a design agreement wherein we learn all that we can about your home and your specific goals. Through a sophisticated feasibility study and diligent process, we will deliver construction drawings, a detailed scope of work, and a project bid. Thoroughly review our proposal, make any necessary adjustments, and move confidently toward a fixed-price, build contract.

We used The Kingston Group to build our carport (w/ storage shed). But we wanted it to double as usable outdoor space for entertaining - kids playing protected from rain/sun or adult happy hour. 👍🏼

The Kingston Group is incredible to work with. They built our home before we moved into it and we have had 0 issues in the 2 years we’ve been in our home. It’s beautifully designed and the quality is great. We recently hired them again to remodel our fireplace. They got back to us quickly with a reasonable quote, remained in close communication every step of the way, and we ended up with a beautiful fireplace. We highly recommend this talented, professional, and responsive team!

The Kingston Group recently completed projects at my house related to HVAC duct problems, a wet crawl space, and a large covered deck needing to be rebuilt. They were professional, responsive, thoughtful regarding scope and price, and did a good job. I would highly recommend them.

I could not be happier with my new (pre cut kit) greenhouse! It was a first for all of us. Once it got it delivered, Josh Moseley, project supervisor, jumped in and work began. Tuck and Payton were very meticulous to make sure everything was included in the shipment and then began putting it all together. Then the paint crew came in and the electricians followed. There was a problem with the light fixture I chose, but Tuck built it up and made it fit perfectly !!!
Since it was 3 weeks late being delivered (fault of the shipping company) Josh juggled people around to get everyone taken care of

The Kingston Group is an awesome group of people to work with! They are organized, qualified, skilled and talented....and most importantly, they are wonderful, kind, caring people! Our renovation went smoothly right from the start. Haley is a wonderful designer and organized our shopping and planning carefully and made the process fun. Nathan is great, contentious project manager...on the job everyday and communicating always! Robbie and Rickie run a terrific company! It is rare that you find a company that cares about you and your family as much as every member of this company cared for us throughout

The Kingston Group is a company I highly recommend. They showed that they are professional, Knowledgeable, and the finished product is incredible! I recommend this company to anyone who is needing to remodel an exiting space or adding square footage to a current home. I absolutely love my master suite / master bath that they added to my ranch style home that had no ‘true’ master originally. This add on We have enjoyed so much but it also added value to our home if we choose to sell in the future. (Although I don’t want to move now). We also added a playroom, drop off zone and new separate
