Cathedral High School
Cathedral High School is a Catholic, urban, and coeducational college preparatory school committed to excellence and social justice. Within an environment that encourages our scholars to reach their full potential, Cathedral students are expected to make lasting and powerful impacts in their local, national and global communities.

Our mission, since our establishment in 1926, is to deliver a rigorous and holistic education that is available for all families, regardless of ability to pay. Rooted in Gospel values that include compassion, respect and service, we embrace the rich diversity of our community and foster a culture of inclusion, opportunity, acceptance and empowerment.
Services
Rev. William Cardinal O'Connell, Archbishop of Boston, founded Cathedral High School next door to his seat at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston's South End. The school's founding was made possible by the generosity of the estate of a benefactor, Mary C. Keith, and its history of philanthropy-based education continues through today.
Your gift to Cathedral High School will enable us to provide a high-quality, Catholic, college readiness education to Boston's youth. Donate now with your credit card using this secure form. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you prefer to mail your gift, you can mail a check or money order to our school to the attention of our Advancement Office.
Since 2004, Cathedral High School has been an independent institution governed by an autonomous Board of Trustees. As the governing body of the school, the Board of Trustees provides oversight of and has fiduciary responsibility for the school's academic, financial, and business affairs.

The Trustees hire the Head of School (who is responsible for the day-to-day management of Cathedral), review the strategies and performance of the school's administrative team, and assist in long-range planning and development.
In order to excel at its mission, Cathedral 7-12 High School hires outstanding educators and driven professionals who are passionate about urban, Catholic education. All positions are based at our historic campus in the heart of Boston's South End. All teaching position applications should be submitted through the relevant job listing on SchoolSpring.
Cathedral 7-12 High School is a proud partner with Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Grammar School in creating a seamless pathway from pre-K to college for inner-city Boston students. Known as the Catholic Urban Partnership, CUP was formed in 2014. The partnership, rooted in gospel values, will better prepare Boston's students for college and leadership for life.
