Services
Available Monday through Friday, drop off your dry cleaning by 8:00 AM and it will be ready by 5:00 PM. Same day service is available for most items. Our VIP Bag Service provides our regular customers with a bag to store and drop off your cleaning items. The bag will include your information so that you can just drop it off at the counter and be on your way.
Located just minutes away from John Wayne Airport and Interstate 405, Green Hanger Cleaners has been a member of the Newport Beach and Irvine communities for over two decades happily serving customers from all across the area. This review is long due. I spilled oolong tea on a light blue flannel shirt and let the tea sit overnight. Worse, I washed the flannel shirt and dried it- and the tea stain had set. I thought the shirt was TOAST! This is a brand new Cloud Comfort flannel shirt from Travis Matthews so I thought I would give it one more try... I took it to Green Hanger and asked what they can do.
The owner took a long look and said he would "try". Tea stains are HARD to get out.
2 days the shirt was later, and lo and behold, no stain. It was like the tea never happened.

I was looking for a dry cleaner close to work. The place is easy to fine with easy parking. I like that they text you when your items are ready for pick up. Their estimated time is also accurate, which I appreciate.
However, the huge deduction is because my clothes shrunk!!!! I dropped off a pants suit and the top of the inseam shrunk. Also, the prices were higher than I expected.

Overall very good dry cleaning and alterations.
I'm especially happy with the ownership. Found a small bleach stain on one of my shirts after I had dry cleaned it here. No idea how it got there and didn't recall seeing it before, but went in to ask if anything happened on their end just in case.
The owner was more than fair and offered me a credit for the full price of the shirt, which I was not at all expecting. Ultimately decided to just hold onto the shirt and see if I could salvage it, but was still offered a smaller credit for my next time in.

Definetly making this my go to dry cleaners, driving the extra miles is definitely worth it. The owner is super friendly and will try his best to accommodate your needs. I put my trust in him and his business to handle all my garments. He was able to get out the tough stains that the other dry cleaners could not. High recommend! Supportsmall businesses!

There just simply isn't any better dry-cleaning business than Green Hanger Cleaners anywhere in Orange County - they are the very best by a factor of 3 - and I have had my share of experiences with dry cleaners all throughout the county and elsewhere during the last 31 years of working here.
They are located next to Jamba Juice on MacArthur Blvd. in Newport Beach. I get my dry cleaning done almost on a weekly basis and pretty much exclusively rely upon dry-cleaned and/or laundered shirts and pants for my line of work - meaning that I use a dry-cleaner more than most people might for my garments

I have been needing a new dry cleaner desperately and was lucky to find this one right by my office. They are so friendly and helpful and not to mention great hours! I wanted somewhere I could drop my stuff off before work and this is perfect! The place is very clean and in a nice little shopping center. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dry cleaner!

Was looking for a new dry cleaners in my area. Went on Yelp and found Green Hangers. Honestly it's the best cleaners I have found in all the years that I have lived in.Newport. I brought in 3 Cashmere sweaters that I've had for quite awhile. One in particular was piling so bad that I was going to give it away. Guess what.? WEDDING DRESS CLEANING:
I had two wedding dresses that needed professional cleaning. One that had 2 year old red wine stains on it, that I further baked in by keeping it in the trunk of my car for a whole year, hoping to get it cleaned. The other had no liquid stains but was dirty on the bottom from walking around outside on snowy/muddy floors.
Both dresses were cleaned so well and looked nearly new. I was able to sell both dresses online within a month!!

Green Hanger is the best dry cleaners I've known, by far, no comparison. The quality of the work and the detail in caring for my garments are unsurpassed. Once my raincoat had a spot I had not noticed and they made sure they checked the manufacturer of the piece, the dye, and the fabric to make sure it would come off safely. The owner contacted me prior to working on it. I was amazed! I absolutely recommend them!!
