Ted & Ron Hoover were born and raised in Orangeburg County, SC. After some time the brothers visited Wisconsin where they learned the basics of post frame construction. In 1972 the brothers went into business for themselves, establishing Hoover Building Systems on a 3 acre site in Lexington SC. In 1984 Hoover Building Systems moved to its current location, a 10-acre site in the heart of Lexington, SC.
This enabled them to expand their business including the wholesaling & retailing of post-frame building components to the general public. In 1986 Hoover Metal Buildings was established to help meet the demands of our customers who had a need for larger commercial structures. Hoover Metal Buildings sells and erects pre-engineered steel-framed buildings in the Midlands of South Carolina.

I was impressed with how smooth the overall process is. The site was always clean. The finished product is spot on. Extremely impressed on how neat the building is in appearance....ie, lumber turned with best side visible, etc. All phases point to well trained staff. Highly recommended.
