Retirement is a milestone that warrants a grand celebration with co-workers, family, and friends. Throwing a retirement party for yourself, a family member, or a friend needs thorough planning. Like any other occasion, it will greatly benefit from the energy brought about by live music. Ocdamia Music Group has been providing live music to celebration of life ceremonies since 2009.
Bridal Song is the most important song of the ceremony. Often, live music helps bring out the emotions of the couple and everyone else, thus; the photographer and videographer capture the particular moment. Pick one song. It could be the couple's theme song or the traditional Canon in D, Here Comes the Bride or any of your favorite song.
Another option is to allow the musician to pick cocktail songs. Our team is excellent in gauging what song or genre the guests will like based on their demographic grouping. We also take song requests from the guests if they approach us. We have a digital library of sheet music on our iPad, so we can usually play a requested song/selection on the spot if the song is part of our listed repertoire.

I knew I wanted to have live musicians at our wedding this past August. I was having an outdoor ceremony at Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona and absolutely LOVED everything I had seen about Ocdamia. I contacted Margie and she was extremely patient and easy to talk to. Margie was the calm in the storm (THANK YOU). I wish I had more time to stay around our musicians to enjoy the music that they played on our wedding day because the omg dual of Mathias and Levi sounded excellent! Our guests agreed and everyone seemed to enjoy that ambiance. I've been in touch with Margie ever since before the pandemic hit and reached out again after the government reopened. She was very helpful and patient during the whole process. Everything worked out great and everyone was completely on task and professional which we totally appreciated and needed on such a day where so many other things can not go according to plan

My husband and I were so happy with the Ocdamia Music Group! We had a piano, violin, viola, and cello in our quartet--all very professional. We had a friend of ours arrange some of our favorite videogame pieces for our ceremony, which Margie sent to the musicians as soon as we sent them to her. The Ocdamia Music Group was able to perform amazingly! Aside from our specifically requested songs, they have a wide genre you can choose from in their library! We have been thoroughly impressed with Ocdamia Music Group from our first email communications with Margie to the end result of our beautiful wedding performance. We had Michael the pianist play during our wedding ceremony and he did an incredible job. They provided us with a user-friendly portal we could use to submit all of our requests and timeline information, making the process simple. Our wedding venue had a piano and we immediately knew we wanted to utilize it. I found Ocdamia while searching online and so glad I did. Last Saturday we were very fortunate to have Ocdamia Music Group perform at my daughters wedding. We hired a cello, violin and viola. My ten year wedding anniversary was quickly approaching and I contacted OMG to see if I could make a request that is not always made with a company such as this. We hired a string trio for our wedding this past weekend in Laguna beach. they arrived on time and provided excellent music. The band played all of our requested songs and our guest had an excellent time recognizing typical pop & hip hop songs being played on the violin. it added a nice touch and help set the mood to our perfect evening. I contacted Margie at Ocdamia Music Group to book musicians at the last minute for a memorial service. Margie was immediately responsive and empathetic, worked with me to find affordable solutions for two separate events (the funeral itself and the afternoon reception at a residence), and put my friend in contact with her musicians to decide the best music to play to honor her father's memory. When the funeral home made a mistake and did not play a recording of music that was important to the ceremony, the harp player at the reception was able to play the omitted piece from sheet music on the spot

I hired Marc to play the cello for my mom's memorial service. He was fantastic. He played the cello beautifully and he's quite diverse in the songs he's able to play. All the songs I wanted were already on his play list. I only had to request Halo by Beyoncé and he was able to play it so beautifully. Margie (the owner I believe) was awesome. We are so glad we went with OMG for our special day. They were very accommodating with all the wedding postponements and changes we dealt with during the Covid pandemic. After much research into musicians for our wedding day, we did NOT hesitate to choose Ocdamia to be part of our special day! Margie was extremely responsive and helpful in every way needed.
