Our family's roots run deep in the sweet Texas Hill Country soil. When my grandparents moved to San Marcos, TX in the early 1940s, they needed a home. Grandpa built them a unique one. Having seven children (my mom was the youngest), the most important factor was lots of room! However, lumber was expensive.
If your heart is set on a smaller, more low-key affair rather than a big to-do, our micro-wedding package may be just your style. We can add on anything - live streaming of ceremony & edited (5) minute video, catering, bartender, photographer, DJ, etc. We can customize any type of package that you want.
However, if we don't have the color/style you desire, here are some other options for you. He can do a FB live stream as well as an edited (5) minute video of the ceremony/toasts/dance. Hunter Road Stage Coach Stop | Charming and different from the norm, this place is located 3 miles down the road from the Texas Rock House.
Not only is it our mission to keep the Texas Rock House alive with happy memories, but we also want to make sure all of our guests have the wedding or event their heart is set on. We were so blessed to get married at Texas Rock House. Other than the venue being absolutely perfect and charming, Erin went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and beautiful. She was so helpful the day of. She helped set up, coordinated traffic, and even took photos so I could have a few to look at while I wait for my professional ones! Erin is so sweet and very accommodating. I loved my day thanks to Texas Rock House!

I had my wedding back in June, and it was all planned in 1 mth… on top of it being a rainy day Erin and her team made my day perfect. I only had a photographer and Erin had captured allot of videos especially our first dance not sure how to post pictures of my special day but it was just how I imagined it♥️ Thank you Erin…

What can I say about this place.
It was absolutely gorgeous. The area is spacious and very open. It’s very rustic with a new age feel that makes anyone feel immediately at home.
Because of covid my wife and I had to reschedule our wedding a total of 3 times before we were locked in on a date. Erin was fantastic about working with us. Even the planning and preparation she was amazing. The family of rock house really made us feel at home and made our special day that much better. We wouldn’t have had as great a day if not for them.

Amazing! Visited late September while looking for a potential wedding venue. We loved the atmosphere and story behind the house. Very cute and rustic feel and wonderful people running the place. You can tell they take a lot of pride into the location and put a lot of heart into their work. At the time of our visit they were working on a groom's cottage and I love their vision for it. We didn't see it at night so didn't get to see full effect of all the lights. But, even late afternoon you can have the lights on and it looks beautiful. Love the open barn.
