Services
We are a family run 'sit & fit' store. We carry in-style comfort brands and offer products such as custom orthotics, compression stockings and wraps, lymphedema products and diabetic footwear. Sanaljon began as a diabetic specialty footwear store. The company has grown into a full retail establishment specializing in comfort and diabetic shoes that can be worn with orthotics.
We are constantly adding new brands - if what you are looking for is not listed, give us a call - we may carry it! We offer diabetic footwear that comes in a wide range of widths and sizes, accommodating sizes up to 18 and widths up to XXW (6E). Diabetic footwear and inserts may be covered under your health insurance.
If you have a prescription for anything, you do need an appointment. It is always best to call ahead if you are a hard to fit person so that we can schedule you with our pedorthist. I came here on a friend's recommendation since she was able to purchase special orthotics she needed at a reasonable price. The shop is small but they do have a lot of different shoe supplies and items for foot conditions. In addition they do sell top quality shoes such as Brooks and Dansko. They also sell diabetic footwear here.
I recognized a few of the brands of both shoes, sandals and orthotics where I had shopped elsewhere. The saleslady asked me what was I looking for. I had mentioned orthotic with a metatarsal arch. She brought me a pair and stuck them in my shoes but when I asked

When my family members needed diabetic shoes, I went to a place where they would just fit you with one type of shoe without any type of selection.
Naturally as expected it was a total disaster. They did not fit the shoes well, and they where very uncomfortable and cause more problems than it did solutions.
Then someone else told me about Sanaljon Medical Care, I took my family member and was pleased to find that they have multiple selections and staff members trained in pedorthics to fit my family member.
I will recommend them highly.
