Curtis is the man!
I discovered a heavy leak flowing from my water meter last night. It turns out that my water main cracked on my side of the city water meter. (my liability) States Plumbing was able to squeeze me in to fix the pipe on the next day. Every other contractor that I contacted had me waiting 3-6 days. We had no water to the property. No flushing, no showering, no cooking. He initially had a full schedule, but understood the urgency and made room. Curtis is professional, courteous and reliable. He performs quality work and leaves his work areas clean. I will continue to use

Curtiss at States Plumbing performed two jobs for us. First we had him replace the house water pressure regulator, two associated shutoff valves and a hose bib. The original was over 25 years old and a disaster waiting to happen! We were incredibly impressed. Curtiss was very knowledgeable, professional, with a very, very competitive price. We were so impressed we asked if he installed hot water recirculation systems for the house as we are in a drought. Having a hot water recirculation system would save water! He does those installations. And so we asked him to go ahead and install one

Our toilet had a clog and later the chain was broken when my husband tried to get it fixed. Got a referral from my best friend and Curtis came to a rescue. He noticed our toilet had an old system hooked up. He suggested to replace to a new one with better plumbing flex line. Since we are seniors and unable to get out to get a new toilet, Curtis was very understanding and took time out to get a replacement from close by Home Depot and came right back to install it. I wanted to add a StreamLabs water controller to my house so that my water main would automatically shut off if a leak was detected. Unfortunately, the new controller needed to be installed inside my garage so my plumbing fixture needed to be completely overhauled. I called States Plumbing and had Curtis create a new custom fixture for me to my exact specifications. He did a fantastic job and I'm very happy with the results. Curtis is super friendly to work with and does high quality work. I highly recommend States Plumbing!

Curtis has helped us twice now. First time, we had a busted water heater, which happened while we were camping, so we couldn't even have that long awaited shower. He came out the next day, got us an awesome unit, and installed for a more than reasonable price. I know, because I got two quotes from other local guys, and they were about $200 over what I paid. The next time, was when our sink wasn't draining, even after we used our rooter, so we knew it was pretty far down in the plumbing. We had Curtis come out to fix a leaky toilet upstairs that was dripping into the ceiling downstairs. He was very professional and did a good job. Where he really shined was when a couple of weeks later during an emergency when our sewer backed up and flooded the house/garage. After I called him he showed up within the hour and did quick work to get everything unstuck and cleaned up. We won't hesitate to call him for any future jobs!

50 gallon Hot Water heater Replacement. Where to start. States plumbing was on time, knew exactly what they were doing. Finished, in less than 2 hours. Not the cheapest, but the least expensive. He fixed what the previous installation had done wrong (12 years ago), and brought everything up to the current code. Proficient and professional. Look no further. This guy is the real deal!
He has been in the area for a long time and did my water heater in another home over a decade ago. That install has never had any trouble and looks fantastic to this day.
Today he installed a 50 gallon water heater for me. If you are not excited by how clean this install looks you don't know how hard it is to look this good! The tank itself was reasonably priced and the install is fantastic
He saw me fixing a water leak in my wall and replaced a 6 inch section of copper pipe that had a nail driven through it and was leaking into the wall.

I had a plumbing problem. I called States Plumbing and Curtis States came to my house and solved the problem. He was courteous and professional. His price was more than fair. I called States Plumbing on a Sunday morning. Curtis returned my call within 5 min. and scheduled a appointment for the next day as this was not an emergency.
Curtis arrived on time and was able to clear a clogged drain in a very short time. He was very neat and courteous and gave us advise regarding how to minimize problems in the future.
He also offered a senior discount for the service call. He normally changes $125.00 for this type call and billed us $115.00. I will use States Plumbing for any future problem and recommend him to anyone with plumbing problems.
