Would have given more stars since they did get my bond sorted out for my title, but I asked repeatedly if after the 300 I spent there would be any extra cost and I was assured that was everything aside from 30-60 dollars to register the truck. They then told me another 100 was needed to complete the job, and because it was bonded if I didn't track down the owner for a bill of sale (another question I asked them about and was given the wrong answer) I was going to have to give the DMV almost 700 dollars just to transfer title and register by truck. That's a lot more than 300 here and maybe 60 there

Good business, conveniently located by Regional department of motor vehicles (cards only). Buy a surety bond while you wait. To obtain a bonded vehicle title , first go to TDMV ( take bill of sale, etc). No credit cards accepted. Paper checks or cash only. Get a blank form 68-A. Then Make an appointment at FT Worth vin Inspection place. Only open one morning each month. It's around 28th st, east of stock yards. Drive the vehicle there and take Bill of sale and any other paperwork you have. They will research that the vehicle has never been stolen, as does the RDMV and bonded title place. It helps

I purchased a vehicle from Craig's List and did not receive a title for that. Initially I did not bother about it simply because the windshield sticker was current. Now that it was almost expiring, I went to the tax office to renew the registration. They did not allow me to get one because the title was not in my name.
