Professional Psych Seminars (PPS), founded in 1996, is a private, non-profit educational organization. Ken Bachrach, Ph. D., a psychologist and its founder, was not pleased with continuing education in California. He had attended a class, which relied more on anecdotal stories than research, just when required continuing education for psychologists in California took effect.
Welcome to our On-Demand Course Catalog from Professional Psych Seminars (PPS). You are about to find out why our on-demand courses are more engaging and have more value than most other on-demand courses. In many respects our classes are like being at a live class. You watch a video, view the instructor, and see the slides change in real time.
Professional Psych Seminars (PPS) has been offering high quality continuing education classes for mental health professionals since 1996. What makes us unique is not only the quality of our courses, but the entire experience of taking a class from us. This starts when you register for a class, which is done online.
You become a member of the PPS Platinum Club, and receive a $100 certificate, after you have attended 6 live classes with us. The certificate is good for any future live class (excludes on-demand classes) for two years from the date of issue. When you've completed 12 classes with us, you'll get another $100 certificate.
Professional Psych Seminars offers high quality live and on-demand continuing education courses, which are approved by all of the organizations listed below. Rest assured that if you are a psychologist, social worker (LCSW, LICSW) marriage and family therapist (LMFT, MFT), professional counselor (LPC, LPCC), educational psychologist (LEP), or nurse (RN), you can take our classes to obtain your continuing education credits for licensure renewal.
