Escondido Tattoo Studio was opened in 1975 and has been tattooing North San Diego County for over 44 years. Escondido Tattoo Studio holds dear the traditions of old school tattooing; Clean, Quality work that will last a lifetime, while maintaining a position on the cutting edge of modern tattooing; in techniques, custom styles, tattoo equipment and modern sterilization techniques.

We have countless designs on hand or one of our artist will work with you personally to design a custom tattoo to suite your taste and style. We use only the Highest Quality Inks, Disposable Needles/Tubes/Cartridges and all of our artist participate yearly in Blood Borne Pathogens Training and are registered and inspected by the San Diego Dept. of Environmental Health.

Aftercare Report

Wash and apply lotion 2-3 times a day for the first week and 1-2 times a day till it is fully healed and no longer shiny. Remember healing your new tattoo properly is your responsibility! It was done by a highly skilled tattooer, using only the Finest Inks, Single Use Disposable Needles, Tubes and Cartridges.

Faq Report

Short answer: Yes. All tattoos are painful, some more than others. Your personal pain tolerance will dictate how painful a certain tattoo will be. Additionally, there are some places on the body that hurt more than others. If you are considering getting a tattoo we recommend that you evaluate your personal pain tolerance and that you ask others, including us, about where you might want to get it.

I was referred to Miguel by a friend who has been getting tattoos from Miguel since he was 19. I have over 30 hours of tattoos done by Miguel with another 10 hours planned in the next month. This is in the past eight months, so I definitely am a huge fan of his work. I have also been there when Tommy has been working and he does great work too and his customers are always happy. I would have him do one of my tattoos, but Miguel is going to do every other tattoo that I have for the rest of my life.

Amazing artist, great experience and wouldn't go anywhere else! Been getting tattoos for a long time and it's all about the environment and a great tattoo experience. New how to read my ideas and put them on paper/skin. I would recommend anyone there because you wouldn't be disappointed.

I've come here several times and I really love the studio. The guys there are easy to communicate with and the work they do is incredible. Miguel has done two tattoos for me, both cover -ups which are beautiful and I get complimented for all the time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional and exemplary work!
