During your first consultation Dr. Mundeir will review your chief concerns along with a comprehensive look at your medical history. Any relevant physical exams are conducted and warranted laboratory testing (blood, urine, saliva, stool) will be ordered during your first consultation. An initial treatment plan will be drawn up and it may be altered when lab results come in.
Hormone imbalance can not only affect your health, but happiness as well. Some common symptoms that can be related to hormone imbalances include: poor sleep, depressed mood, heart palpitations, fatigue, low sex drive, difficulty sleeping, decreased muscle strength and reduced mental focus. Last year during the H1N1 epidemic the hospital where I work was strongly encouraging all employees to be vaccinated. I have never received any type of flu vaccination and I was very skeptical about the safety and efficacy of this new vaccine. At the same time, I didn't want to put myself or others at risk by being unprotected from this virus.

For millennia, physicians and herbalists have found medicinal uses for all parts of the elder tree, including its wood, leaves, flowers, and berries. The branches of this native European plant were believed to cast off evil spirits. Leaves were used in ointments to heal wounds. Flowers and berries were used to make wine; infusions were a common treatment for colds and rheumatic conditions.

I am so happy I found Dr. Mundeir. I came into her office 3 months ago feeling so sick with sleep issues and digestive problems. She took the time to listen, assess my overall health, and come up with a game plan for getting better. I already feel so much better and am sleeping through the night. I look forward to continuing to work with her to improve my health. Thank you Dr. Mundeir for your intelligence and sage approach to health.

He was on endless antihistamine plus steroid sometimes. That was certainly not the solution to put a kid on those medicine for a long period of time. Looking for simple solutions to your symptoms? Dr. Mundeir is who you need to see. I needed advice regarding recurring heartburn, and I didn’t want to be dependent on a prescription medication. Dr. Mundeir guided me through dietary changes that made my symptoms disappear. I was amazed at the simplicity of the advice and guidance I received from her and noticed a 100% improvement in the symptoms I was experiencing. She really knows her stuff!

I have been working with Dr. Mundeir since 2008. I started seeing her for fatigue, which is no longer a concern. My primary care MD was never able to help with fatigue, and I was always told my labs were fine. Through the testing that Dr. Mundeir did, as well as listening to my symptoms, she found out that I had an underlying autoimmune thyroid condition. She prescribed a low dose replacement hormone and fatigue has not been an issue since. Dr. Mundeir also supported me through my pregnancy with herbs and vitamins that helped me transition through pregnancy smoothly. I’m so happy to have her
