Services
Dr. Ungar is available to treat foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts and painful calluses. Our practice specializes in general foot care. Please call our office in Farmington (248) 477-3301 for an appointment. Ankle sprains are caused by an unnatural twisting or force on the ankle bones of the foot, often resulting in one or more ligaments on the outside of the ankle to be stretched or torn.
Dr. David Ungar received his undergraduate education from Wayne State University. He then went on to complete podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatry Medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, locations, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.

Great office and staff. Got an appointment on pretty short notice and the process to schedule was quick and straightforward. Dr. Ungar was knowledgable and quick but not in a rush. He took the time to educate me which I appreciated. You can tell he involves his office staff well and that translates positively to the overall experience. Highly recommended! Very friend staff.

I was extremely nervous about going to the doctors and Dr. Ungar and his staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The best experience in my 29 years of life dealing with doctors, Dr. Ungar really made me feel at ease and made me feel important by taking his time to explain what was going on and the process of fixing it. I chose him from reading all the positive reviews as im an hour away and im sooo glad I chose to make the drive and not chicken out of the appointment, I would highly reccomend Dr. Ungar!!
