To avoid potential problems in the future, before starting any construction project, it is important to thoroughly review proposed contracts and negotiate, where necessary, key terms such as costs, materials, time for completion and how unforeseen circumstances and disputes are addressed. Design and construction projects today are often complex.
Whenever possible, we seek to have contractors avoid the need for litigation by reviewing and drafting construction contracts with a straightforward approach that minimizes potential misunderstandings and disputes proactively. Whether they are standard AIA documents or custom-developed documents, the firm is pleased to review, negotiate, and draft construction contracts for our clients.
Long Island construction projects today are complex operations. The construction methods used, the technology required, and the number of participants involved makes for a complex web of obligations and liability. When claims arise in this environment they likewise make for complex matters of litigation.

We had a problem with a contractor that took our money and stopped showing up on the job. Working with John saved my husband and I financially and saved our home construction project. He knew exactly which steps we needed to take in order to terminate our contract agreement and help get our funds back. I would recommend him to anybody. He was a lifesaver!!!
