Recommended by the American Optometric Association, the InfantSee program works in conjunction with your pediatrician baby wellness exam. Assessments at six to twelve months of age can determine healthy development of vision.

Dr. Hoffman is the best eye doctor I have ever had an appointment with, no exaggeration. He is friendly, courteous and very attentive... I really appreciate when a doctor stops what they're doing to give you their full attention just as Dr. Hoffman does. He was full of interesting information and took the time to explain much more to me about eyes than any of my previous doctors.

I have been going to the same optometrist for years. Not only because they are professional but they are friendly, kind and courteous. Over all great people and from the very beginning of this pandemic as far as my own personal health care team, he was the 1st one to actually ask how my mental health was doing during all of this. It meant a lot! While I can definitely recommend them being great at their job the extra care they put into their patients really makes a difference.

#1: I visited the office during the time of COVID. The procedures the staff had in place were superior to anywhere I've been.
#2: My exam with Dr. Hoffman was informative, explaining every step (including how equipment had been sanitized). He worked extremely hard to get the right prescription.
#3: In the spirit of confession, I did order my glasses online. They came yesterday and I can honestly say this is the BEST prescription I've ever had. I don't remember being able to see this well.

Without question, the best experience I have ever had at an optometrist office in 40 years of visits!!! This is a family owned and operated business, and you can certainly feel the difference that makes.
Dr. Hoffman is so caring and very thorough. I got in depth education of my particular vision impairment. He even diagnosed a very treatable eyelid infection that apparently I've had for years which prevented me from wearing contacts comfortably (I had completely stopped wearing them because of this).

Dr. Hoffman is a caring doctor. He uses current technology to help him care for his patients. Early detection of any disease is beneficial to one's health. He takes the time to fully explain results. His staff is friendly and kind. I referred Dr. Hoffman to many of my friends and family. I highly recommend him.

Dr Hoffman is the best. He explains everything to a level you can understand. The staff is family run and have been in the area for years and years. Great selection of glasses and they now have this new machine that takes images of the entire back of the eye. I forgot what it's called but it can detect early signs of diabetes. Amazing. Check this place out.

He is the best optometrist I have ever been to, and I have recommended him to many friends who also love him.
Even when I had not seen him for a couple of years, he still remembered me and even what I did for a occupation. The fact of the matter is, despite having moved to San Diego about 6 years ago, I still drive up to his office about 1.5 hours away when I have my eye exam because he really is worth it.

I am leaving the office happy as a child! Not only because my eyes are healthy and also there is no traces of anything bad in my general health that can be detected through the eyes , but also because I love Dr David, Gene and everybody else that work there!

Dr. Hoffman and staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They treat you like part of their family and we feel very comfortable with this office. Dr. Hoffman goes out of his way to explain exactly what is going on and never rushes you. They don't schedule so many appointments close together that you feel rushed and they usually run very on time. I would HIGHLY recommend this office.

I really appreciate the professionalism, personal care and guidance provided by Dr. Hoffman. He's thorough with his eye examinations and takes the time to clearly and succintly explain the examination process and any findings/results from these tests.
