Organization set up to help families and individuals struggling with addiction through fundraising efforts and community relationships. Lindsay joined the Natural State Recovery team in February of 2021 with a long history of cultivating community relationships that positively impact families and individuals.
Natural State Recovery has been such an amazing addition to Little Rock and Arkansas as a whole. There hasn't been a program that cares and focuses on treating addiction and alcoholism with a real solution that can be applied for long-term recovery quite like the one at Natural State. These people have been through what all of us (addicts and alcoholics) go through.
Our whole-person approach uses a balanced blend of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Recovery Dynamics, Living in Balance, Relapse Prevention, Early Recovery Skills, Family Education, Yoga and Meditation, Nutrition and Fitness, and action oriented activities to assist the client and their families to build a solid recovery foundation.
The Family Program at Natural State Recovery Centers consists of a suite of services geared at addressing the needs and identified goals of family members and loved ones that have been impacted, directly or indirectly, by the substance use and associated issues of another person. Systems adapt to dysfunction to maintain balance and avoid catastrophic failure.

Natural State had every piece of the recovery process that I was looking for when trying to find resources to recommend to my loved one. The help didn't stop after a 28 or 30 day inpatient stay--it stepped down in phases (partial hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient) and offers a sober living option. The staff was very helpful in providing all of the information I needed to pass along to my LO and to recommend to others. (And they didn't lose too much patience with me after numerous calls, lol).

I have zero qualms putting my name on here. Natural State has saved my life. It’s an awesome facility for men and women with a great balance of activities. The staff, nurses, and counselors all genuinely care and give great treatment. It’s located at an old high school with improvements being made daily. Highly recommended!

The staff seems to be genuinely caring and loves their job. It is a nice facility; however, they lack in helping with family communication and rebuilding family relationships. The first days there is no contact with your loved one. After the 14 day black out period you will only receive 1 maybe 15 minute phone call per week. You never know what is happening or how your loved one really is doing.

Be wary if you go here for help. They removed my original negative review even though it wasn't disrespectful. Now they are having employees post positive reviews to keep their Google score up. This place is more about making money and keeping an image, than actually helping patients. This is petty and unprofessional.
