This is my second time using Edgardo and his team and I have to say that both times I've been extremely pleased on all fronts. Very responsive, good pricing and easy to work with. I needed to get rid of a few pieces of small furniture and misc. junk. Called at 10am, they were on-site by 12p, and the junk was removed from my garage by 12:15. They swept the area clean as well. Highly recommended and I will continue to use them for my junk removal needs. Support local business!

Edgardo and Enio, the crew of Bay Junk, showed up right on time. They called me 15 minutes prior arrival, so I didn't wait for the 2 hours window appointment. Once Edgardo checked all my junk, he provided a fair and reasonable price right then. They started removing and hauling all my unwanted furniture and miscellaneous junk. Very reliable and response junk removal service. The crew was very respectful and professional. I definitely call Bay Junk in my future junk hauling needs. I highly recommend Bay Junk. I've used Bay Junk twice at this point to help remove miscellaneous junk from our yard.
This recent time was an incredible experience. After sitting with a number of large boxes, a wooden palette, and other random junk in our yard for a few months I messaged Bay Junk to see if they could pick it all up. It was Christmas Eve so I wasn't expecting a reply right away.
Not only did I get a reply, the company picked up everything within two hours!

I found Bay Junk at Yelp and filled out their online appointment form. The owner email his contact phone number to me. I told them what need to be removed and they have me texted the pictures to them. Within a short time, a quote is provided and it is a fair price. They came over within an hour and removed all the items in a professional way and I am so pleased that they were able to make it even on Sunday.

2. When they arrived at our home - they looked at the items and said $340, but then I removed 2 arm chairs so it went down to $310, which felt reasonable and he worked with that discount. Most items were in one area already outside so little walking for them. However, the two men onsite were grumpy and rude and when I told them which items were junk and which items could be donated - they mixed the two and said they most likely won't be donating even though Edgardo told me they find people who truly need the items.

Got a call back from Edgardo, they sent a crew out the next day (a Saturday) to assess the work, gave me a quote. I thought the quote might have been a bit high, but seeing they had some labor to haul stuff all the way from the backyard and through a narrow walkway, I said go for it.
On top of that, they had to pull in a full size hauling truck through a narrow street with lazily parked cars in the way. I think anyone else would have given up at this point...
What took them less than an hour, would have taken me 3-4 days, truck rental, hauling to transfer station, and lots of sore muscles.

We had a great experience with BAY JUNK.
My husband and I had to clear out the apartment that my elderly brother-in-law had just vacated. He had a 1 bedroom apartment in one of the senior housing complexes in San Mateo and was a bit of a packrat/hoarder. Hubby and I live on the other side of the bay and just wanted everything gone.

I filled out the contact form on Bay Junk's website and within an hour received a response from Edgardo. Super responsive, he reached out multiple times to confirm the appointment, as well when he left, so I didn't need to sit around for a huge window of time.
When he came out the next morning (that turn around time!) He was very friendly and kind, he took a tour through the house as I pointed out what I needed removed and he gave me a very fair quote.
