MFPSeals produces many unique materials. We have listed them here with some common properties. Woven aramid fabric reinforced high-temperature resin composite with graphite and another proprietary lubricant added.
Gland Seals (GS)MFP Seals' GS Seal is a modern day, heavy-duty gland seal, used for enhanced performance, in place of an O-Ring or O-Ring and Back-Up Ring combination, used to seal threaded glands in Mobile Hydraulic cylinders. The GS provides a high dynamic, pressure energized sealing effect, with 4 sealing contact points that increase in radial force as pressures increase.
Vee PackingMFP offers a wide range of stack-able packing designs. Commonly called Vee Packing or W Packing the sets are made of top and bottom adapters with pressure rings in the middle. Each set consisting of a number of rings and the pressure rating of these sets is driven by the total configuration.
MFP Seals produces a full range of spring energized seals that are used in a wide range of applications. Spring energized seals can be produced for applications that present challenges to other conventional seal designs and no matter what the media a seal can be designed to fit the application.
Common seal applications that call for spring loaded seals range from explosive decompression resistant seals or AED Seals, extreme temperature applications, high surface speeds, non-lubricated systems, Extreme pressure, Vacuum applications and more.A variety of spring designs can be used and the spring configuration is selected based on your application.

MFP Seals has been my go to for anything seals including high-temperature seals to include o-rings of all shapes and sizes. They will custom cut/make any o-ring you have a dimension for, out of whatever material you specify. Great company. Customer service is professional and knowledgable. They also carry sealants like Loc-Tite brand selections. The reason this listing got a 4 star instead of 5 is that the hours were listed as opening at 8am, when the actually open at 9am. Just plan accordingly, and your experience should be smooth. Also, you get a discount for knowing your part numbers i.e. they

I worked at mfp for 2 years. It wasn't a bad job pay could of been better. Management was all pretty decent. Jim mfp,s engineer is one of the best. I got overtime for keeping the place clean
I was fired from mfp but I admit fault an they put up with alot from me. So GREAT COMPANY to work for or get seals from.
