The Mexican gastronomic culture is over 6000 years old. Modern civilization owes Mexico the corn and cocoa. Historians narrate that when the Spaniards arrived in Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec empire, the whole city smelled like cocoa. Mexican cuisine was enriched by the presence of the Spanish and then the influence of cuisines from the Caribbean Islands, France, Africa and finally by the cuisines of Eastern cultures.
Today, Mexican culture is a cultural treasure. The pre-Hispanic cooking techniques provided little elaboration. However, an important technique cooking process such as corn nixtamalization, which brings carbohydrates from corn starch, allowing for conversion en masse. This technique was unknown at the time, except in Mexico and some Central American countries.

While I do enjoy the food at Broncos, it's not good enough to overcome horrible customer service. Twice this week I have placed to go orders and twice this week I have found myself greatly disappointed. It appears to me that no thought is put into scheduling and the amount of time you are told on the phone to expect to wait on your food is greatly understated. With Covid around restaurants should expect more call in orders and plan accordingly. Don't visit this restaurant unless you have a lot of time to spend waiting...and waiting....and waiting...

Ok...first time here, and was very impressed by the number of tasty selections on the menu!! No cookie cutter menu here! I got the Burro Burrito...a deep fried burrito filled with ground beef & shredded chicken, topped with pico de gallo, melted cheese, & red sauce...surrounded by pieces of steak, shrimp, cheese quesadilla, & chicken taquitos! It was amazing-definitely a do over!! Can't wait to come back & try more!!!! 😁😁

Great little Mexican place in the middle of tiny Woodruff. No complaints here when I can get a great meal for $6.99, along with chips and salsa bar and a very good Margarita (16 oz) for $7.99.
The premises is very clean, the food very good and the staff delightful. Couldn't ask for much more. 3 Cheers!

Very tasty! I wished I had gotten pictures before I cut it all up, however it looks, just know the flavor is there! As you can see there is a good portion of food on the plate as well. Very satisfying. I gave only 4 stars due to the in house waiter I had. Having served in many restaurants as a server, there was much to be desired from the waiter. He was watching football, not paying attention to our table when the place was empty. Didn't clear plates as they were sitting there clogging the space on the table. Asked if we wanted a drink to go, but just brought us empty cups to pour our half empty

The complimentary chips and salsa are a but disappointing. Chips are room temperature with no salt or seasoning. The salsa has been blended to oblivion. It does however have decent flavor to it. The menu is entirely too large (TEN PAGES). It would likely take you thirty minutes to read the menu if you timed yourself. I order the # 25 combination (yes I too could not believe how many "combinations" they put on their menu). Combination 25: Unseasoned rice that tastes like it's instant rice (very dry and clumped together). Instant beans with a slight bit of added hot sauce and over

Actually the food here isn't too bad sometimes, but compared to anything else in Woodruff it doesn't have to be much to be good. The service is terrible. Our waitress was Paula, very unfriendly and did not return to our table once to check on us. I refilled our water several times myself and finally just brought a pitcher back to our table. We chased her down to get our check, which seemed like quite the imposition to her. We have been to this restaurant numerous times (only place in town) and you can order the same thing everyday and it will always be a different amount. Pay attention

Been here a few times now. Excellent food, great menu. VERY authentic, fresh food. When seated, you are brought 3-4 different homemade salsas, freshly made crispy, hot chips... the green tomatillo/avocado salsa is the bomb! Excellent burritos, guacamole, beans, rice. A really great find in this area, very friendly employees. Excellent fresh food, nice clean place, friendly attentive staff, and great prices... That's five stars from me!

They're constantly adding new things to their menu. They have a pineapple with pork dish that is just out of this world. It's more than you can eat but it's wonderful you wouldn't believe such good Mexican food would be in such a tiny town. The place is packed on the weekends. The man who owns the restaurant lives in Woodruff and is been here for years. Try it you'll love it.

We stopped for dinner on the way to the beach. The cost for 9 to eat was very reasonable. The food was really great. My only negative comment is that the service was pretty slow. It is Friday night but still could have been better. I am glad we stopped and tried it. But I think next time we will opt for something closer to interstate.

We are on our way to the beach and I had a hankering for Mexican food. Thanks to the yelp app and the review of a another yelper, we ended up here. It was about 10 mins off the interstate (closer to 15 with the detour) and it hit the spot. You have the option to choose hot or mild salsa (both tasty) and the pineapple bomber was delicious. It was only $4.75 for a "small" which was closer in size to a large and half the price of a mixed drink back home. My husband got the burrito macho without meat and it was one of the better vegetarian burritos we have tried at any Mexican restaurant

I live in Texas... how can my favorite Mexican restaurant be in tiny Woodruff South Carolina? I don't know honestly, but it is! This place is so good. Whenever I visit my mother we have to stop here at least once or more on my trip. I get the vegetarian fajitas which are filled with perfectly spiced veggies, even some unexpected ones like carrots and cauliflower. They have a whole vegetarian section on their menu which is really nice, and of course there are plenty of dishes for the carnivorous. The fried ice cream though, oooooh my, is up there on my favorite desserts ever list. It doesn
