Troy and Scuba Steve were impeccable. I have been working to convince my wife to snorkel with me, but it was a challenge since taking a cruise excursion that was not fun for her. They guys made my wife at ease and confident she could do it. They catered to her individually to get her mask and fins fitted. During the fittings there were lots of laughs and before we knew it we were all set. They have a great selection to choose from and are happy to let you try it all. I cannot thank them enough for the conversation and reassuring my wife she can do it. And the laughs!

Dive Florida has become my family's go to for everything diving. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help.

After over 30 years of not diving, had the AWESOME opportunity to complete a refresher class today with instructor Steve Buntin at Lake Denton. He was highly recommended by my brother who has been diving with Steve since 2008. My first concern was whether I would remember any of the skills and secondly the posibility of embarrassing my brother in public. LOL! Not only did I survive but thrived and was grateful to have the ability to get my "feet wet" . Steve's knowledge, extensive experience and patience helped me to regain my confidence and would highly recommend him

Called Dive Florida from out of state about the local beach dives before driving down. I was directed towards my second choice of dive sights and was given all the details required to dive it. Can't thank Dive Florida enough for all the help. We intended the on swinging by the shop to show some support but ran out of time. So, a 5 start review will have to do.

I am not impressed by this scuba shop at all. The staff are rude and less than than helpful. Overall the appearance of the store is not that good. I would only shop here if I was in a pinch and could not go to one of the other local shops

As soon as I walked in the shop, I felt like I was a part of a dive family. Steve helped provide the information I need. We spent almost an hour talking about dive stories. As new divers he wanted to encourage us to keep our passion for diving. I thought we would leave there having bought BCDs but instead he suggested for us to rent them first, offered to help us weigh correctly at a pool or beach. Best experience at any merchant by far. Oh, and my daughter absolutely loved Steve. She called it the DingDong scuba store. Steve will have to tell you that story.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for the staff at Dive Florida. I have a son with dyslexia so reading and comprehending are a challenge but he really wanted to become Scuba certified. We were planning a winter trip to Florida so I decided to do some research. The first phone call I made, I called Dive Florida and I spoke with Troy who was so helpful. He reassured me that they would dedicate as much time as needed to ensure he was educated to complete proficiency. He set the timeline and expectations of the course and I built our trip from there. He then recommended the Casa Del Mar for accommodations

Very friendly and willing to work with me to make sure I feel 100 % comfortable while becoming dive certified. Always willing to answer questions and takes the time to help me find the proper fitting equipment.

Troy is a great guy and goes out of his way to help you out and is Veteran friendly! His prices are reasonable and his shop is well organized. He checked out my gear before an upcoming dive and likely saved me from trouble underwater. He also spent time looking for a flipper strap clip that had broken from some spare parts he had. Excellent service. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I went here looking for a good mask and snorkel and wet suit for my vacations. I was VERY impressed with the clerks knowledge of the equipment, there were some good deals and my favorite...a military discount. I was super impressed with the clerk giving me a call back with information on some used equipment that was for sale but pricing was unknown at the time. Thank you for your help and great customer service.

I did my open water certification in June 2016 and chose Dive Florida from the internet so I went in to chat to Troy the owner and he was extremely informative.
The instructors that helped me through the course we're Troy, Leah, Mark and Bill and they were all so patient and would go over certain skills until I felt comfortable performing that particular skill so there was no pressure and I went at my own pace.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Dive Florida to anyone who was interested in taking up scuba diving.

Not happy at all. I'm here on vacation, and went to the beach nearby to go diving. I came here to buy a dive flag only to find out that the whole store was out on "lunch break". I waited there for forty minutes and was met by the shopkeeper and his partner who I thought were customers. Jokingly, he says "man, lunch break again? This guy is a slacker" and I said "yeah? I've been waiting here for forty minutes" they both looked at me and one of them said with upmost sass "uhh, sorry?" I hold Then as we continue to converse, his partner is talking

I'm an independent scuba instructor in the area. I send my students to Dive Florida when they are interested in purchasing equipment because of their selection, knowledge, and friendliness. Troy, the owner of the shop, is an honest businessman who believes in placing the needs of the customer first. Simply put, you won't find a shop with more integrity than Dive Florida.

These guys are GREAT! Another dive shop in the area cancelled on me the day before my class started, so I called Dive Adventures and they enrolled me in a class that same day. I was able to do the online classwork right away and the next day they set me up with an instructor for pool work. I was given individualized attention and private lessons throughout my course. It was wonderful to have a one-on-one class with an experienced instructor, opposed to some dive shops where several people are learning to dive at once. The shop owner was so kind, allowing divers to test out gear before you buy it
