Our youngest son has autism and I have a lot of physical issues and she adapted everything so that we all learned at our own pace and ability she's fantastic! My husband and older daughters got certified last month to prepare for our Grand Cayman trip. They loved the instruction. In grand cayman, our dive masters commented numerous times how "well trained" my husband and kids were, saying they had exceptional buoyancy control.

Try breathing underwater for the first time! Get your first taste of scuba diving and how to use scuba gear in a controlled environment. How to breathe underwater comfortably with a regulator, monitor your air, depth and control your buoyancy. Although this is not an actual certification, Discover Scuba is a great introduction for those who don't know if they are sold on the world of scuba diving.
PADI Bubblemaker: Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds - This course is a student's first introduction to scuba diving - a chance for kids to blow bubbles. Students can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. Bubblemakers will get a chance to experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of an instructor and take their first breaths underwater, shallower than 6 feet.
Adventure Outfitter's PADI Skin Diving course is, snorkeling while making breath-hold dives to observe aquatic life, up close and personal. It's a great way to explore the underwater world when you're not able to scuba dive or just not old enough yet.
The Skin Diver course teaches you: How to choose, adjust and use skin diving equipment, basic safety guidelines for being in and around the water, snorkeling and skin diving techniques including checking buoyancy, surface swimming, clearing water from your snorkel and performing effortless surface dives and finally, going on an optional skin dive at a local dive site!

I acquired my free dive and open water certifications from Adventure Outfitters. I love the vibe of the dive shop. All the instructors and dive masters are awesome! Alex is a fantastic free dive instructor. Very knowledgeable and patient!! Jenny is an amazing scuba and free dive instructor! She definitely practices what she teaches!! I love Adventure Outfitters!! I highly recommend!!!

Outstanding Dive Shop! I'm really glad I found this place. I was looking for a dive shop for Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures and Helitrox. I found that most shops won't run these unless they have a certain number of students asking (and I get that), I was being told it would be a few months at least. After searching google I headed over to Adventure Outfitters and was signed up within 2 days. Alex was willing to teach the classes even if I was the only student (I ended up getting a buddy to sign up with me). The class was amazing. Alex is an awesome instructor and went beyond the standard curriculum

Great selection, veteran owned and operated. Most staff are Technical dive instructors, so they are a lot more experienced and knowledgeable then your traditional SCUBA instructors. Would highly recommend for all level of divers from just getting started to diving for decades. They also service all equipment in house.

Great dive shop and great team! The instructors are top notch all around! I couldn’t think of a better shop to go through for open water cert. The staff is extremely experienced and takes all the time needed to explain everything. Very friendly atmosphere almost like walking in and immediately being “welcomed in the family”. Highly recommend to all divers (and soon be divers). Cant wait until I return to Tampa and link up for another dive with these guys!

Brand new to Florida, and, in relation to Floridians, even with 15+ years of diving, still on newer side to diving. Had never owned my own gear before today. Alex was amazing. He listened and asked questions in order to build my gear. I ended up spending a few hours in the shop, mostly just listening to him and the other customers that came in….to learn and soak up as much info as possible.
I researched them prior to going and saw the great reviews. This will absolutely be my go to shop. Looking forward to being an avid diver and learning!

I had so much fun talking with everyone and they were able to help me with everything I needed. Repairs on 2 different brand BCDs, O2 cleaning for my tanks, nitrox fills and shopping for a new BCD. Looking forward to guest speakers, dive club meetings, Gasparilla bead cleanup, Dive against debris dives and hopefully some lionfish hunts... Can't wait!

You won't find a better place to get your certifications, classes and gear. I love this people, besides of been a great team of professionals, they're all family and will treat you as one of their own. Jenny and Alex (owners) make an exceptional team. This family owned and ran business totally rocks! First and foremost, I'd like to say thank you for being fantastic dive instructors to Anna, Robert, and Alex, as well extending the thanks to the dive masters, Ed and Carlos. So lucky to have found such an amazing shop! It's not just a dive shop! since finding this place about a month ago we have expanded not only our equipment, and our certifications, but also I truly feel like we have found people we can call friends! We took part in the discovery scuba class at Devil's Den with Alex as the instructor. He is an ideal teacher, super calm, knowledgeable, and just a great guy. He took us through a skills portion in a pool before the open water dive and I, as a first time diver, went from pretty nervous to feeling comfortable and excited about open water. During the open water when I felt uncomfortable and had to emergency surface, he helped me get up and afterwards didn't force me to dive again. We stayed close to the surface and he kept working with me to build my confidence back up. Alex really turned
