PR Environmental Designs, Inc. has provided over 10 years of expertise in the design and installation of septic and stormwater systems serving Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, and Berks Counties. Paul graduated with a degree in Environmental Sciences from Gettysburg College and began working for a local environmental firm, quickly specializing in the septic and storm water industries.
We provide service in all phases of stormwater management, including soil and infiltration testing, stormwater system design, system installation, and maintenance. There are typically three reasons why you may need a stormwater management system.
First, if a property owner is planning on building any significant amount new impervious cover in the form of additions, pools, driveways, patios, etc., local ordinances will require the installation of a storm water management system to capture, store and dissipate the additional new runoff back into the ground.

Newer grinder pump and low pressure sewer system technology allow groups of residents or whole neighborhoods to connect to public sewer with minimum disruption.We have designed and installed dozens of E-One grinder pump systems, among others such as Liberty and Zoeller pump systems. If you have the option to either replace your septic system or connect to public sewer, we can provide comparative estimates so you can make an informed decision.

We provide consulting services for Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Sewage Facilities Planning Modules which can be required for new land developments, subdivisions, and installation of small flow treatment stream discharge systems. We also prepare PADEP General Permit Applications for stream crossings, utility installations, wetlands encroachment, erosion and sedimentation control, etc.
These young homeowners bought a beautiful house in Bryn Mawr that came with a few surprises. First, the sewer pipe that exists the house crosses through Darby Creek at the rear of the property through a concrete encasement that had settled and shifted, breaking the pipe, resulting in years of sewage contamination of the creek.

Paul and his crew installed a new septic system for us a couple of years ago. The design was well done, and the system has worked flawlessly until recently when the float pump-switch failed, and our septic pump alarm went off. I texted Paul, and he got back to me that same evening and had someone out to our house the next day to fix it. Thanks for helping us so quickly!

Does not stand behind his warranties! We purchased a home with a newly installed septic system from PR Environmental. All the work was supposed to be covered by a 3 year warranty. Paul will not return calls for a problem that has arisen. I have a copy of the "3 year warranty" paperwork, but what good is it when the owner of the company won't return calls. Subcontractors that Paul had hired out for the job came and fixed their portion of the job after I called them directly.
Beware of contracting with Paul! There seems to be no recourse for him not following through with a warranty. Disappointing

The intial experience with PR Enviromental was good. Paul came out promptly to provide me an estimate. After signing his proposal he took longer then expected to begin the job, he stated it was weather related, which is understandable. The job took about a week and seemed to be well done, with the exception of the condition of the yard. Only about 50% of the yard has grown back. I called Paul several times and he asked me to give it some time, which I did. When no additional grass had come in I called again and requested he spread some more seed and straw. I then sent him a check for his final

Paul removed a concrete septic tank that was beginning to crumble and replaced it with a new polyethylene tank. He also added filters, replaced baffles, and extended trench cleanouts to be at grade (rather than below). Paul didn't blink at removing the old septic tank; whereas, others we spoke with wanted to put a new tank in next to the existing tank. Paul came in with his guys on the days he said they would be there and cleaned up each day. The work looks neat and well done. All access points to the system are neatly set at grade. The only thing that could have gone better was proactive communication
