Services
Heritage Learning Academy is a Preschool located in West Frisco and has been family owned and operated since 2006. We strive to provide the best learning environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old. How do we do this? Simple! We provide low teacher/child ratios, smaller group sizes and a curriculum that allows children to learn at their own pace.

Children learn through play, through exploration, hands-on activities, observation and positive feedback from parents, teachers and the children who interact with them.
We are so proud of our teaching staff. They are dedicated professionals who are committed to the education of young children. And, most importantly, they are warm, loving and nurturing and have the ability to be playful. These four ingredients are most important in building successful relationships with the children in their care.
The literature is clear. There is a mind/body connection. Given that understanding, it is our belief that physical development and physical fitness deserve equal respect and attention along with the educational aspects of cognitive development! When we promote physical fitness, we are, at the same time, promoting self-esteem, self-confidence, cognitive learning, cooperation, and a lot more.
We know that choosing the right child care center for your Infant is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. Here at Heritage Learning Academy, we work in close partnership with parents to ensure your baby is cared for according to the needs and schedules you have already established at home.

My now 5 year old son has been going to HLA since he was a year old, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made for him. When we were looking for a daycare back then, HLA was one of five places we toured, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to bring him here. We've always said we're so lucky we found this place for him. All of the teachers and directors there know him and love him, not just his own. There has been VERY little turnover in the 4 years he's been going. He loves going to school and seems like he's always been challenged there, never bored. He is going into kindergarten

Great school with great teachers and principal. This school does a very good job at preparing kids academically and socially for grade school. My 6 year old who attended this school starting from an infant is now leaps and bounds ahead of his classmates academically in elementary school and my 3 year old who is currently at the school is following the same path. My kids love it here.

After a very unexpected and undesirable experience at another local preschool, we were referred to Heritage! I was pleasantly surprised to see that their staff don't leave. Some staff have been there for 10+ years!!!! It's not a rotating door of people, leaving your kiddos in disorganization and chaos! Staff stay for good reasons! It's a small town feeling. Everyone is family. Staff and management are so welcoming! I'm so thankful for being directed this way! I never realized what my kiddos were missing until I found such an amazing school! Thank you!!!

We recently moved to the area from out of state and searched over 10 preschools for our two toddlers. HLA stood out from the rest due to long tenure of the teachers, owner is on site and actually works there everyday, and they serve breakfast and lunch everyday. Having been there for several months now, we are so glad we chose this school and love the teachers and how they teach our kids. Our kids love the balance of play, fun and learning. Outstanding school and we appreciate them and absolutely trust them with our kids.

My daughter attends Heritage for after school care. We love the center staff and she adores her teacher. They offer all day care at no extra charge (regular tuition) when school is closed, which is very convenient for working parents. They are very flexible with payments and I was able to choose a plan that worked with my pay schedule. I have a feeling she'll be attending Heritage for a long time to come.

Love this precious day care! Clean, quiet, small, and modern! The director is amazing and knows each child by name. The kiddos seem to respect him very much! Brianna is a sweetheart and greets us every day with a smile. The teachers in Infant A and Infant B are super sweet and you can tell they love their jobs and the children. I am so thankful that my son is enrolled here. I know he is being well taken care of!

My son has attended HLA since he was 4 months and my second is about to start in a month. I love the small feel of the school and the owners and staff are always so helpful. My son has learned so much and is so happy at school. HLA has many fun events for the kids: fall festival, holiday concert, many holiday parties throughout the year and parents night out.

My boys have being going to this day care since they were two years old. I have two kids, my oldest is 10 and my youngest 6. My family love this day care!!!. It is always clean, the teachers are super nice, they really love the kiddos. Full of great activities, they learn and play a lot. The principal is amazing. You feel that your kids are left with relatives. And the best of all is that my kids are always happy when I pick them up. They always said that they had an awesome day!!! Full of fun and caring.
