Node Landscape Design LLC was started by Roxanne Andersen who completed the Landscape Architecture program at Merritt College. In addition, she holds a Permaculture Design Certificate. Roxanne was the former owner of Handsown Nursery which specialized in growing edible plants for the East Bay. She is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
A Bay Area native, Roxanne has 25 years experience gardening in our microclimate. Her own garden was featured in a Bay Friendly Garden Tour. Today, her garden grows a wide array of edibles from tomatoes to bananas and is her research lab for testing ornamentals from all over the world. Services
This package includes a thorough design process resulting in hardscape and planting plans that can be taken to a landscape contractor for installation. The process includes significant input from the client including multiple site visits & client meetings. Complete landscape design fees are typically between $1,000 - $3,000.

This is way past due. Roxanne Andersen did a fantastic job on our landscape design. We went from concrete jungle with a yard overgrown with weeds to a beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful design that exceeded our expectations for low water, low maintenance, and edible plants. She even helped us choose plants that were hypoallergenic to address my seasonal allergies. Roxanne understands drip systems, soil issues, and lighting needed for plants.
