Home maintenance plays a crucial role in our life. It makes our place healthier and will maintain the durability and lifespan of our materials. As an owner, it is our responsibility to conduct maintenance to combat complications. Part of home maintenance is getting rid of the molds and mildew. As we all know, molds and mildew are fungi that we live on are where moisture occurs.

These fungi are a big help for our environment but not for us humans. Having them within our property means trouble. It will cause risk to our health, especially when we have children and elders within our roof. Mold and mildew can affect our respiratory system, sinuses, eyes, nose, and many more. It will result in headaches, congestion of the sinuses, nose irritation, and many more.

I was a camp counselor for 4 awesome summers while attending university 1979 -1982. Kells had developed a kind of - well - like an Outward Bound program for the East but even better!. The kids always loved to come back to camp but we spent more time on the trail, canoeing, water hikes (going to natural rock water slides or hiking up through a river - rock hopping), bushwacking with nothing but a compass, a map and a few sparse directions!
It was a truly maturing and self-confidence building experience: not just for the boys. But for me as well. The Deep Woods experience has profoundly affected

Our 14 year old son will have his third summer here this year. There is no way to explain how incredible this camp experience has been for him! These boys gain so much knowledge about being outdoors, pushing their physical and mental limits, bonding, playing in nature unplugged and with enough freedom to explore their world in ways that kids don't get to do these days. Kells' has created an amazing program and we are so grateful to have found it! Our son is counting down the days until he gets there this summer.

If anybody doesn't know anything about this camp they should!! I went for the first time at the age of 10 and I was scared to death! I think it was 1978 or 1979. I wasn't used to being away from family and I was homesick. I think I put everyone through hell lol!! I took off a summer and came back for 4 more years. After the experience of local day camps I knew I had to go back. Kells and this camp made me who I am today!! I appreciate the friendships I had and learning to work and help each other as a group. I hope that you choose to send your boys here because it will change there life!!!!!

This summer will be my older son's 6th year and my younger son's 4th year and they have been counting down the days to camp for months now. The experiences they have at Deep Woods last throughout the year. Little bits of stories crop up at the most unexpected times (like coming home from a baseball game and my son, about to eat something with his dirt-covered hands, just said that the dirt was "trail spice"). The memories they have created and the skills they have learned at Deep Woods will be with them forever. Kells has created such a unique experience at Deep Woods that I know my boys would

Our son attended Deep Woods as camper, then ranger, then counselor, and had the most positive and life-affirming four summers. He loved the hiking, rafting, camping, cook-outs, orienteering, living in and learning about the natural world around all about this vast and beautiful place. No electronic gadgetry - just conversations, story telling, laughter, outdoor adventures, developing empowering skill sets for life such as self-reliance, empathy, the ability to encourage and inspire. Glowing eyes outside the circle of a camp fire on the Appalachians, bears snuffling up trees towards provisions,

This will be my 12 years old son's 3rd summer at Kells Hogan's Deep Woods Camp. He has grown so much with each summer's experiences. What other 10, 11 and 12 year old can say that they spent 3 weeks on the Appalachian Trail? Not many. During the school year Kells is still present in our everyday lives and is referred to all the time. Kells did this for us, Kells taught us that. He is counting down the days until camp starts once again.

This is one of the most unique camps and I must say I was blessed to of gone here. Kells Hogan played a huge part in my life teaching thru his camp to just push on thru no matter how difficult life can be. Because when you make it to the end you'll be so much more happier then if you had quit at the 1/2 point, and more then likely you'd be sitting at the 1/2 point all alone anyways. Thankyou Kells for giving me this opportunity.

Deep Woods Camp is a wilderness adventure experience for boys unlike any other. I spent the better part of 10 summers between the age of 10 and 22 as a camper, ranger (think counselor in training) and counselor, and I still often tell people how important it was in forming the person I am today. It goes beyond the skills you learn about backpacking, hiking, orienteering, whitewater paddling, rock climbing, mountain biking, etc. It is about unplugging from the crazy world of technology, and just being a boy in the woods with your friends on adventure after adventure every day.
