After 25 years practicing internal medicine, Lawrence Rueff, MD has begun providing personal physician services in Louisville. Witnessing a declining level of quality in medical care in recent years as medical practices increasingly focus on their bottom lines, he has decided to focus on patients & prevention by spending more time with each patient individually.
Lawrence Rueff, MD graduated from the University of Louisville with his MD, and has specialized in disease prevention and wellness for healthy living in his 25 years of practicing internal medicine in Louisville.

We have appreciated Dr Rueff's thorough exams and the time he takes to listen to our concerns. I especially find the exam results, connected to Boston Heart Diagnostics, enlightening. I have found this helpful in getting a better understanding of the various components of the lab tests. Dr. Rueff is proactive in helping patients better understand the impact of life choices and nutrition on our daily health. He is professional, has a friendly disposition and an understanding bedside manner.

I have been Dr. Rueff's patient for over 15 years and are very pleased with his and his staff's care. Dr. Rueff is an excellent physician; personable, professional, and always a pleasure to visit even when I'm not feeling perfect. He has been treating me for diabetes for the last 15 years as well as other medical issues. I am 79 years old and have an active lifestyle. I attribute much of my ability to be this active to Dr. Rueff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rueff's for seven years. I am very satisfied with his service. I like the concierge model. There is never any wait, the staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Rueff spends plenty of time with you. He is a good listener and his manner is very professional. My husband and I became patients of Dr. Rueff while he was with St. Matthews Medical Associates. When he opened his personal physician office we hesitated to invest the money for the service because we were comparatively young and in excellent health. But, invest we did,......in our most precious possessions, our health and quality of life. Dr. Rueff's care, concern, and commitment to us is evident during each and every appointment and conversation. I trust him with my life and always enjoy a laugh or two every visit! Dr. Rueff is physician to my whole family, my 95-year-old father, my husband, my son and me. The only reason my mother lived to be 94 is because of the great care Dr. Rueff provided her. We are very satisfied with the services of the office...the ease of contacting him, setting up appointments and the friendliness/competence of the staff. We are never rushed through our appointments and the wait time is minimal. I usually only have to wait if we are early!

Dr Rueff and his staff are incredible! I always know my concerns are taken seriously and addressed. Dr Rueff spends adequate time listening, examining and making a plan to treat any and all problems that I have. He never rushes me. Healthcare is so different now, but in this office I know that I am cared for and about.
