Front Range Equine Performance
Front Range Equine provides Equine Sports Medicine, lameness, acupuncture and chiropractic care that identifies and treats the root cause of your equine partner's performance problem. Because lameness and loss of performance can be caused by a multitude of problems, we take a comprehensive, holistic approach to every case.

Correct, timely diagnosis is the key to the best possible outcome. Our strategy begins by studying all available patient history provided by you and your primary care veterinarian. We then approach each problem with a "from scratch" attitude, evaluating every relevant aspect of your horse's performance issue.
Services
How Front Range Equine approaches your horse's problem with our Sports Medicine, lameness, acupuncture and chiropractic expertise depends on the reason that you, your veterinarian, trainer or farrier want us to examine your horse (the "presenting concern"). Except for a Pre-Purchase exam, the first step will be to discuss the symptom(s) that cause the horse to be examined.
While your role is to ensure that all of these are addressed, most owners overlook the horse's conditioning-perhaps because it is the least glamorous. Yet conditioning is the most critical to your equine partner's health and performance. Imagine a human athlete's muscle condition if she sat in her house every day, briefly "turning out" for a run around the block.
My horses love both Dr. Marshall and Dr. Finazzo. I use Front Range for regular chiropractic adjustments for all 3 of my horses. They've also been super helpful with keeping my two geldings sound and competing with annual injections. My horses and I love Front Range Equine Performance both for veterinary and chiropractic care.
This is a comprehensive sports medicine wellness program designed to ensure your horse stays in optimum athletic health and is able to perform his best all year long. There are two package options you can choose from. The first soundness exam is designed to identify areas of weakness and develop a physical therapy program to strengthen these areas.
Pre-Purchase exams assist you and your trainer with assessing whether a horse is fit for the intended use at the time of purchase. Stage 1is a standing evaluation of the entire horse, including the heart, lungs, eyes, gastrointestinal tract, musculoskeletal system, and overall body condition. Stage 2 is a moving exam where the horse is observed on soft and hard footing, and if possible, under saddle.

Dr. Marianne was great! She worked on two of my horses and I noticed a big difference. She was also really invested in working with them and spent over an hour with my older guy who really needed the attention and work. She’s extremely knowledgeable and thorough as well, and her vet tech takes really comprehensive notes. I also really like all the rehab exercises she gave me to do with both my horses.
Her services are a little more expensive than others, but after you work with her you’ll know why. I highly recommend!

Marianne and her team are such a blessing to our remote horse community in Steamboat! They have experience, knowledge, and genuine concern for our horses! Myself and my clients are so grateful for their monthly visits and hope to make them more frequent in the future!

My horses and I love Front Range Equine Performance both for veterinary and chiropractic care. Dr. Marshall-Gibson connects well with Arabians! Under her care, my 27 year old mare has dramatically improved in soundness. She recently provided a very thorough pre-purchase exam for my 19 year old rescue. I was skeptical of equine chiropractic, but the improvements in my horses are undeniable.

Dr. Marshall is a thorough, attentive, and very knowledgeable equine veterinarian! I had the privilege of riding along with her for a week. She knows her craft incredibly well, is very attentive to her patients and clients, and is constantly striving to be on the cutting edge of the latest technologies to help your horse. Her patients respond so well to their treatments (chiropractic, acupuncture, and otherwise), and her clients swear by her. She can approach any lameness issue your horse has from multiple aspects to help get them back to feeling their best.

Front Range Equine Performance never fails! Marianne Marshall-Gibson is an excellent sports medicine vet and a wonderful equine acupuncturist and chiropractor. She and her assistant Whitney are always prompt, professional, friendly, and very thorough.
Dr Marshall has been working on my horse for about 3 years and my gelding, Ben, loves having her work on him. She has taken the time to not only watch him move on a lunge line or in hand but also under saddle, insuring that she knows exactly what is going on with him so she can treat him accordingly.
A few weeks ago, Ben was in a bad pasture accident

Highly recommend Dr. Marshall. She takes the time to thoroughly examine my horses and if I have other concerns she takes the time to address them. Dr. Marshall is patient with my mare that is grumpy and not easy to work with. Again, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Marshall and am proud to have her on my horse's health team.

Dr. Marshall is a kind and extremely knowledgeable vet for your horse's soundness needs. We are impressed by her professionalism and expertise. The fact that she does not only lameness evaluations, but health certificates and coggins as well as equine chiropractic and acupuncture mean that our herd is very well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for these skills in a veterinarian.
