I had tori surgery ( removal of bony growths in the lower jaw) in February with Dr. Karbakhsch. Although I had a sense or dread with this surgery it went perfect. Dr. Karbakhsch and her staff are meticulous with following the CDC guidelines and keeping patient's safe. Dr. Karbakhsch's technique is perfection. I can't even tell I had oral surgery. Dr. Prior an anesthesiologist administered IV sedation and I tolerated it well. I left the office with no complications. My recovery was easy. Now I have greater movement with my tongue that was restricted. My oral hygiene has improved and it is no longer

Today was my fourth visit to MK Periodontics in Tacoma on Union. I used to be scared of the dentist and Dr. K and her staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable. They have machines that use water and salts to clean below the gumline and remove plaque. So much nicer than other deep cleanings I’ve had. Wow! What an amazing doctor and staff! We had the best experiences ever. My daughter needed surgery and graft and Dr. Karbakhsch was so gentle, kind and caring, this doctor took all the time to explain and educate me on the treatment needed for my 14 year old daughter. We felt like we were the only clients in the office. My daughter had such a great experience and the work was beautiful. Her graft is perfect, she has almost no swelling or bruising! I cannot say enough positive things about this office. The front desk ladies are always very welcoming and professional and the hygienists and other staff know what they're doing. Doctor MK always makes me smile and puts me at ease the moment she walks in the room. I have never had such a positive experience having work done on my teeth!!
