Miconi Marble & Tile has been family owned and operated since opening its doors in 1994. Under the partnership of David Miconi and David Shawn, the business has grown from a small showroom with three employees to a 6,000 square-foot showroom and 23 employees. Shawn, who was still an undergraduate at UC Berkeley at the time, began an apprenticeship with Miconi at a Bay Area tiling company.
Eventually the pair decided to take the risk and open their own company. Since opening in 1994, Miconi Marble & Tile has become a premier company in the Bay Area and throughout California. Miconi himself is known as the "Tile Guru" and is often consulted by contractors and other tile and flooring companies for help in enhancing their own projects.

These guys are amazing! I had water leaking through my roof into my basement. Not only did they come out and Identify the issue they were able to fix it the same day. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Doug is the Man. He also has great connections for a business loan if you ever need one.

I wish I could give them a higher review, but I had an awful experience here. I do not recommend this business to order your tile at; there are a lot of other places that offer better customer service and care. I can't speak to their installation services as I didn't use them but there are also other stores that offer a much better retail experience than the clutter of tiles everywhere in the store.

We’ve worked with David and Daryl of Miconi Tile many times. The work is always of the highest quality and the service from their design team is great. We are a design build shop, and sometimes we do our own tile work, but when we do shop our tile jobs around, their estimates are always competitive but even better is that by far they are the most detailed estimates we receive, so we know exactly what we’re getting.
