We are a family oriented resort where people of all ages have enjoyed our beautiful spot on the lake for generations. Kids and adults alike enjoy fishing off the docks, in a boat, riding bikes or 4 wheelers, bird watching, beautiful sun sets or sun rises and walks to take on the amazing fall colors.
The resort is located in the central southern Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Manistique on beautiful Indian Lake. Indian Lake is known for an abundance of great fishing that includes walleye, perch, bass, northern pike and many other species. It is always a thrill to see an occasional sturgeon jump.

Stayed middle of last week Wednesday through Monday morning. The owner and staff are great! They checked on us periodically to make sure we were good. You can hike to Kitch-iti-kipi (Big Springs) which is about a mile I'd say. You can also kayak across an edge of the lake and into a stream that leads you to the springs. They gave us a great deal on firewood. The pool saved us as it was unusually hot. It also kept my 7 year old nephews occupied. We will return!

What a gem! Clean resort and friendly staff. Owner Sally and daughter Jen were fabulous hosts. Our site was grassy and spacious. We have a 40 ft super C. Fire pit and picnic table. We used the washer and dryer and it was great. There’s also a very clean swimming pool. (We didn’t go into the showers.) The lake was beautiful and you can rent their pontoon boat for a reasonable fee. Big Springs is less than a mile away as the crow flies. If you’re into fishing, this is a great place to be. For us, it was relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Gerometta's was an absolutely great place to stay. Although it may not look like a typical resort at first as soon as you get used to the laid back operation you'll feel right at home. The rates are great and what you get for it is far better than what you can get for double the price in most the rest of the state. We had a rustic style finished cabin that was essentially a modest home that opened up to a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was extremely hospitable, and I really couldn't have asked for a better stay. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
