My husband and I needed transportation to a medical appointment from Rossmoor to Concord. A few days prior to the appointment, I called
Alliance Cab to find out if we could use their service. The individual to whom I spoke told me to call the night before the appointment to schedule as their mornings were generally busy. I called as directed and was told to call the taxi driver himself. I did, left a message and never received a call back. I had indicated in my message that this was a medical appointment and was very important. Very disappointing.

When my driver pulled up to pick me up...there was no big taxi sign on the car, he was very polite, quite the gentleman. Beautiful engaging conversation during my ride home. Simply. Courteous, punctual, personable, basically everything you want in a cab company. I would call out somebody specifically however I'm horrible with names. But every single driver would have to be listed that I have encountered thus far. I take a cab about three to four times a week and that's probably being modest. They are always ready, able, and on time. I can't tell you how refreshing it is after using places like Yellow Cab and others. Sorry to give you the thumbs down yellow but when you have competition like Alliance, stop complaining about why you don't get any fares and step it up.

I'm the daughter of a cab driver/dispatcher and so try to support cab companies whenever possible. I also don't usually write bad reviews but feel that people should be aware of the poor service. I booked the cab the day before we were leaving for New York. When it didn't show on time, I called the company and was told, "It's five minutes away." Five minutes later, still no cab. Very happy with this cab company. Today was my second time using them for travel to and from medical procedures for my spouse. I do not drive so they help me be the designated "driver" for his surgery visit. The ride was booked the day before and we slept well knowing we would have good taxi experiences like last time and we did.
All the drivers have been prompt, friendly people and their cars have been comfortable with soft seats and very clean. They use FasTrak transponders to go in the paid lane which got us to the destination quickly this morning and made the ride cost less due to

Update to specifically address the comment on 22 March by Alliance Cab. I called Alliance Cab (using the phone number on their Yelp page.) They answered the phone and introduced themselves as Alliance Cab. The cab that arrived did not have an Alliance logo on the side, however. This review is not for another company.

This was my first time using Alliance Cab. Everything went picture perfect. When I called the company to reserve a cab for the next day, my call was answered immediately (and not put on hold), and it was easy to make the reservation.
The cab was there 1 minute early. The driver was polite and helped with baggage in and out of the cab. The cab was spacious and clean. The driver drove safely.

I made a yelp account to leave this review. I scheduled a cab to BART early in the morning. I scheduled the cab the day prior. I called when he was 5 minutes late. He had forgotten. He said I'll be there in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later he called and asked for the address and said some choice words and said that I'll need to call someone else. He said my next ride is free but I don't think I'll be relying on this company again. Hoping I don't miss my flight.

After checking Yelp for a good local cab company I went with Alliance. I needed transport to a surgical center. Talk about stellar service. Professional. Courteous. Clean. And a Lincoln Town Car for a cab. My driver was personable and funny and provided a nice ride and a good rate to my destination. I will use him again if I need a cab out this way.

Great choice! I'll totally use them again! I called several companies trying to get a decent pick up time. Not only were they the fastest, but they had the best customer service hands down. I don't take cabs often, cause its usually a creepy and horrible experience, but these guys were great! Clean, friendly, prompt, no cigarette smell... My new go to cab company!

We used Alliance Cab for a trip to SFO when we had to be there at 4:30 a.m. We've taken limos (when work paid :)), town cars and taxis before and I have to say, I really felt like this is the best service we've had! Brad was on time, courteous, did not complain about our mountain of luggage and the car was spotless, smelled nice and very comfy! Really, the car was as nice as a limo and did not really look like a taxi. I cannot believe that we can have this kind of a service for the price of a cab!
