I recently had our older outdoor furniture painted at Tortoise Industries. They did an exceptional job and also wrapped the tables and chairs with packing wrap (for porcelain plates) so they won't get scratched while transporting. I can say that Tortoise Industries is a first class shop who thinks of everything. The customer service was excellent and they were on time. Need I say that my new outdoor furniture is better than new?!

Used to have great deals, now they only do super expensive batch orders. Go somewhere else if you want any orders that aren’t huge. It’s a $350 MINIMUM charge

I have a 1952 built in can opener that had stopped working. I took it apart and saw that a small piece had broken off and needed a spot weld. I found Tortoise in seconds - called and Claudia said come over. We did. she took the piece, looked at it, and said "give me 5 mins" . 5 minutes later she returned with it welded. I offered to pay, she refused...

This is what makes america great kids.

These guys are awesome. I had an existing piece that needed to be modified, and they came up with solutions that worked within my budget. Sedrak answered all my questions, and was super supportive and communicative throughout the project. Plus the quality of their work is top-notch. I couldn't have had a better experience.

This is the place to go for powder coating! After being disappointed in the manufacturer's base color on a lighting fixture, I brought the piece to Tortoise. Within a week, I had the perfect "sun gold" chandelier.

The service was great -- inquires are answered quickly, turnaround is quick, and the staff is really nice.

Note: The minimum price for a powder coating project is $375.

Came in to have custom work done for a motorcycle fender. Saw the Yelp! reviews and was a no brained to drop by. Tortoise embodies everything about being a 5 star business from timing, pricing, recommendations, hospitality, comfort of couch in the lobby, you name it.

Matt was my main point of contact, but everyone I interacted with was fantastic. He spent time making sure my needs were fully understood and when I got the product back, saw they exceeded the original scope with something even better than expected.

Highly recommended, look no further, go to Tortoise Industries.

I just left their office after meeting Richard, outstanding customer service. Richard took the time to explain about the time needed for each set up and the cost involved. Its a lot of work and anyone who complains about the cost of top notch work should perhaps think of home depot krylon shake cans of spray paint for 2 bucks a pop and leave the professionals to their labor.

This guy is the MAN! The customer service of this place is out of this world. You feel like you are friends with the staff because of how nice they are. I took a couple body parts of my car to give them a cool look and was blown away by the quality of the powder coating job they did. The owner is a VERY nice guy and works with you to make sure you are as happy as can be. I am going to be a customer for life. Can't believe I did not know about him earlier!

This place is THE PLACE TO GO! Steve (the owner) is UNBELIEVABLY service oriented and ready to help you with whatever needs you may have. He is willing to work with your budget and has very reasonable prices. He is quick and did an AMAZING job on my bumper, which I wanted to powder coat to give it a nice / solid paint job. He definitely earned me as a customer for life. First, it was because of his personality, but then it was sealed with the QUALITY of work that I have not had in the past with other things I have had powder coated.

This is the place to go for all of your powder coating needs

I have a mid-century chair that had broken off from the base and needed to be welding back. Even though this is much smaller job than they were used to doing, they were very helpful and didn't make me feel foolish for asking if they could help. Howard was very nice and after they gave me a price and tool the chair, he offered me a tour of the shop and walked me through all they do there. It was cool!
My chair was ready the next day and it was done perfectly. The price was $60, which was in my opinion a bit more expensive than what I was looking to pay but I realize simple welding is not really

I have louvered (jalousie) windows and I had one window in an entire house full of these windows with one broken clip. I spent the better part of a year trying to source a replacement window operator or replacement clip. I talked to Steve and he was able to weld that clip back into place in a matter of minutes. On top of that, he didn't even charge me.

Fantastic experience. I look forward to sending my outdoor metal dining set for a new color.

Awesome service and communication!!! Had to make two furniture prototype here and got pretty much all the metal works done here and powder-coated. They are super good with responding to feedback and willing to take their time to fix and get the parts right. This is definitely my first place to go for metal works.

I have never written any reviews before and I probably won't write any unless I meet someone as helpful as Steve and his crew. Steve is super easy to work with, willing to listen and very knowledgeable. I am not talking about making conventional stuff and just making it look somewhat decent. I am talking about one off art piece combines with digital fabrication, and making it look nice. And Steve nailed it! You can see it for yourself ---- http://cc-archi.net/B2420

Who do you go to when you need help when you procrastinate? Tortoise Industries! I needed help fabricating these pieces and was on tight time restraints. Howard, the owner helped me with my project and gave me a tour of the warehouse explaining the process. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgable. Will return for all my future projects!

After unsuccessful attempts to get a spark arrestor welded onto the tip of my quad's exhaust by several muffler shops and/or welders, I met Steve. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Within an hour I was at his centrally located shop and he innovatively was able to get the JOB DONE!!! I highly recommend them and give them 5+ stars!

Steve, Gordo and the crew are awesome. Tortoise Industries powder coated my 69' Datsun Roadster Frame and Roll bar for an amazing deal and picked up and delivered it to me in mint condition. I appreciate the hard work and quality as well as taking care of me under their busy schedules.

A+++++++++++X1000, As well as I will be bringing the Datsuns Body tomorrow to have it blasted as well. So far, Tortoise has been more than expected. Thank you!

Best part is I live 5 miles from them. Amazing. Thank you again.

Who would've thought that I would ever feel so strongly about a metal fabricator that I had to immediately review them and sing their praises? But seriously, Steve is a rockstar. I had the tiniest of jobs. I just needed a two-piece donut cutter combined into one. Not only did they treat me like I was an important customer but they were able to get to my little project quickly and send me on my way with said cutters after only a short weight. I feel like I have to find more things to be welded!
Thank you, Tortoise!

I had borrowed a neighbors manual juicer and while using it part of the metal frame cracked. If you haven't seen one of these things it is a huge aluminum beast of a machine. Upon seeing the crack my heart sank. These things cost about $120 and that was money I just didn't have to spend so I looked for a local business that could weld it back together for me.

Tortoise was the first place that popped up in my search so I e-mailed them asking for a quote. I received a quick response back from Steve who said that he could help me out and asked me to bring the juicer in for an accurate
